Anyone that has been following along for the last few weeks, may have read my posts about having issues with my usual butcher. We ended up having another issue with them being kinda rude to my wife. So I decided it was time to switch shops permanently. I do understand that meat processing is going to be slow right now, and I can accept that getting good cuts of meat will take more time. I just can’t accept poor customer service. I was sent a link to try @gilmoursmeat and thought it was worth a shot. We were able to place an order online and received free local shipping. Last night they delivered my meat, but my steaks were not going to be here until Friday (no big deal). My wife ended up getting a text first thing this morning saying the steaks were on the way, and 30 minutes later they were on our door step. Something my wife liked was that they waited to make sure someone actually came to the door and got them. Tonight I’m starting with these 60 day dry aged Rib eyes. So far it seems like we made a good switch. I’m looking forward to getting good meat with less effort. #ribeye #dryaged #dryagedbeef #dryagedribeye #ribeyesteak #steaklover #canadianbeef #shoplocal #gilmourson38 (at Trenton, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAL1DKDhbPw/?igshid=jywogulutq72
