I found a journal entry of mine from August of 2020 about all of the labels I used at the time, and even a barcode flag, and so I made one using everything I use now, and I thought it would be fun to compare!

August 2020

This was less than 5 months after I realized that I wasn’t a girl, I still felt a connection to femininity, and I was kind of at a point where I was too confused to label my orientation, and still kind of afraid of using microlabels, even with myself.  Truly the only thing I was sure of was my demisexuality/romanticism.

I’m far less afraid of microlabels now, I don’t use them with a lot of people IRL, but I at least use them with myself.  I legitimately haven’t had any new crushes or anything in the 2 years in between, but I did become more comfortable with using labels that I know might change, because these things don’t need to be permanent.  I’ve realized that what I thought was a connection to femininity was actually a connection to feminism, and I’ve reconfigured how I see autigender.  It’s not that being autistic is my gender, rather that the 2 experiences are intertwined for me.

My actual feelings honestly didn’t change that much, but the way I framed those feelings in my mind did.  Idk this was really more of a public journaling thing because I thought it was interesting.

hihi!! i'm sorry if i've already sent this in before, i'm not sure if my internet was functional the last time i sent this. do you know of any fae/forest related genders? i'm kin with/very heavily ID with a faun/satyr and i feel like my gender is connected to that (us fae folk had a very "whimsical" understanding of gender to say the least)!! additionally (and feel free to cut this part if i can't request both in the same ask) do you know of any fae-related pronouns besides fae/faer?

fae genders:

Genderei: (pronounced gender-ray) Personifying your gender identity as a fairy. 

Fablegender / Genderfable: A gender that is strongly connected to mythical beings.

Faygender / Pixgender: A gender that feels closely related to the magic of nature, fairies, or other small ethereal beings.

Faegender / Faeori: A gender related to The Fae — a gender that changes with the seasons, equinoxes, and moon phases, and/or a neurogender related to the Changeling myth [which is about autistic people].

Wispe: A gender that is ethereal, wisplike, and gives a sense of flowing, magical serenity. It may have a sense of temperature (i.e. it may feel cold or warm), and may be related to spirits and/or the fae.

Forestic: A gender alignment with forests.

Dryagender: A form of agender with more of a connection to an empty forest.

Forestgender: A gender related to forests.

We're gonna walk through the different levels of how I'd explain my gender to different people, because I think it'd be fun. (Imagine that iceberg meme where there are different levels as you go deeper)

Level one: Agender

On a very surface level, I don't have a gender. I'm not non-binary in a combination of a bunch of genders way, but in a there is a lack of gender where the gender should be way.

Level two: Little guy

I feel like a lot of kids tv shows have the kid that's outside a bunch, and has an androgynous name who could be a boy or a girl and there is an answer in the canon but a lot of people aren't exactly sure. I feel like more often than not they're also wearing overalls of some sort. My gender is like that, before people develop any real secondary sex characteristics and are just kinda vibing.

Level three: Autigender and dryagender

Now we're getting into microlabels because I really like microlabels. I'm dryagender as in like an open meadow. I'm autigender in that the way I experience gender is entwined and inseparable from me being autistic.

Level four:

Him. Both in the implicit autism in all of pokemon. But also in the "just a little guy" but not like a gremlin kinda way, in like a little fellow, little guy kind of way. And also that there really isn't any distinction between the male and the female unless you really dig. (It's not in like a my gender is turtwig kind of thing, more that the way people see turtwig most closely resembles how I would like for my gender to be perceived, if that makes sense)
