Also extra tidbit but the turning point for the david au’s is his engineering degree. If he passes he lives and gets the job at freddys as a technician eventually becoming b!david, if he fails he gets the job at freddys as a janitor and dies to become any of the phonehead endings. So his entire life depends on his degree lol. (Also theres the third one where he just never goes to uni which leads to the divorce ending where he never gets a job at freddys but his original husband james does becoming a phone guy.) Anyways hehe funni lore

Ok heres the new Phonedavid (canon david au) lore

Meet David’s boss! He goes by Mr J and he is a dsaf 3 business jack variant.

He is money focused completely and hence fired all employees bar from david and the prize counter worker (oscar) as he didn’t need to pay either of them. (Oscar was on work experience and david is legally property so he doesn’t legally need to pay him)

david is basically running the whole place by himself 90% of the time and hence hasn’t had a break or slept since the other employees were fired a year and a half ago.

Mr J also hurts david when he does things like mess up or just if he’s bored. He sometimes uses his fists or a taser which resulted in several fractures, burns, bruises, crack’s in his phonehead (whoch he covers with bandaid cause mr j doesn’t want to fix them), a broken stuttery-voicebox and a few broken bones for david all caused by mr j.

He also doesn’t let david call him anything apart from boss, sir or mr j. David is deeply afraid of Mr J and he uses this against him.

Other Fun/facts about David and his boss because i am bored.

David is roughly 38 years old but still only 5’4-ish

David’s boss (Mr J) is 6’3 (being aged about 51 years old)

David is asexual

David’s parents were a dicks and didn’t really care about him (especially pre-transition) and so he has never really had affection given to him (amplified by how his boss treats him)

Mr J/ Jack does actually have Davetrap working at the restaurant but he cleaned him up and Davetrap seems to obey anything he is told to do by Jack

Mr J really doesn’t like David hence the constant attacks but he knows David basically runs the place on his own

David has not slept or eaten in almost two years

David is constantly afraid at work which comes across as just general anxiety and clumsiness which usually lead to Mr J attack him for it

Mr J is very fond of the idea of ‘shock therapy’ and has purchased several tasers, using them on the animatronics and David (threatening Davetrap with it a few times)

Legally David is considered property to Freddys which is why he is unable to leave
