Ya girl finished the second chapter of that one fic she wrote! Trust Exercise! It's about Techno beating assassins in the long game, the intricacies of trust in a society built on subtext, getting to know your spouses, the moral of murder on vs off the battlefield and (checks notes) drugging.

 Please read the tags and then have so much fun.

evil therapy au we cooked up on the Lenn constellation server.

schizophrenic Techno has had a really, really bad experience with therapists and psych wards in the past. But he and his newest therapist are really hitting it off! This Philza guy is great. He isn’t treating techno like he’s evil, or scary, or dismissing the stress of his mental illness. It’s kinda life changing for techno to have someone know what he’s going through and genuinely support him in a way that’s still honoring his agency, personhood, and intellect.

The problem, uh, being. That Philza sees that. And comes to the conclusion that Techno needs him. His role as a therapist is too limiting since he’s Techno’s only support. And after techno’s cut contact with his parents, dwindling friends, series of ablist bosses, and catastrophe of previous medical ‘professionals’, Philza decides no one else can be trusted to help. But that’s okay <3 Philza can be everything for techno <3 <3

he starts to get uneasy about Phil and intrusive thoughts pounce, voices screaming about how he can’t trust Philza. Except it’s all in ways that are genuinely happening. So techno is telling Philza all his paranoia of Philza, meaning he can immediately either get subtler or tell Techno it’s normal and coach him on ignoring the red flags.

Even worse, Phil has the power to control Techno’s meds.Getting things laced with oxytocin or whatever and giving that to techno at the start of their interactions to force techno’s brain to associate him with positive rewards, force techno to love him.

On the flip side, whenever techno does things Phil doesn’t like it’s incredibly easy to get him plummeting. On days techno plans to go out, mixtures that crash his mood or make him tired. Or fake anti psychotics because ‘stress just makes the hallucinations worse, you must be too stressed going outside and should just stay in’

Techno breaking down crying because all the voices are screaming at him not to take the meds and dragging Phil’s name in the mud even thought this is the only person who helps him.

Dsbi au where Tommy accidentally gets used as a pawn and later adopted by mafia!Phil.

So like Tommy's parents are dead and he gets taken in by his older brothers who happen to be twins. Twins duo of course had their own life goals and such but had to put that all on hold to take care of tommy, they also slowly but surly realize that normal work is not going to cover the bills and have to turn to crime.

And you know what? Turns out they're very very good at it, so much so that the siren and the boar become feared in the criminal world.

They even get on the radar of the crow family, lamanbjrfs largest and strongest mafia.

Meanwhile tommy is lonely, his brothers are constantly out, and of theyre not out they're sleeping or having hushed conversation that stop the moment tommy walks through the door.

And Tommy might've been used to neglect from his bio parents but not from his brothers, this takes a toll on him.

One day he gets a job to help out with the bills, he's only 12 so the only job he can get is delivering papers, and that's how he meets Phil.

The only kind person on his paper route, Phil stops to chat with him, making jokes and laughing at Tommy's own jokes.

Simply just being there. And Tommy, tommy finally has someone in his corner.

Little does he know, Phil knows exactly who tommy is, this is the boar and the sirens precious little brother, the perfect bargaining chip to get them to join the mafia.

And in the start that's all tommy is to Phil but slowly the boy worms his way into Phil's cole heart.

Him and Kristen did always talk about having children some day. And maybe just maybe tommy will be the perfect fit.

So one day, on Tommy's paper route Phil offers to treat him to lunch, and Tommy, tommy trust Phil, so he takes him up on it.

A meal and a couple of sleeping pills later tommy is knocked out cold, in his new room in Phil's secret safe house.

But Phil's plan is not done yet, oh no.

No matter how much Philza dislikes the boar and the siren, aka Tommy's brothers techno and willbur, he knows how much they mean to his precious new son.

So he hatches as plan, simple no murder involved just a little black mail and extortion.

And it's laughably easy, a simple photo of his toms asleep and they show up in an instant, wanting him back.

Phil of course says no but have an offer they simply cannot refuse.

Come live with him and let them all play one big happy family for Tommy's sake, play the part of loving Phil as a father while taking orders from him like a boss.

Tommy gets to live a life of luxury and love and isn't that what they've always wanted?

So they say yes, as Phil knew they would.

Getting them some rooms can happen later, for now he has a son who will wake up scared to comfort.

I have a couple things I'd like to say about current trends in the Dark SBI tag. (For full transparency, I don't explore or read from the DSBI tag very often, despite the majority of my writing falling under it. Mostly I read the isolated works of a few close friends and fellow authors. Everything I'm about to mention was originally brought to my attention by and discussed with these other writers.) One of the most unique parts of the DSMP, from the beginning, was the overlap of character and content creator. And even though we are writing and reading about the characters the cc's put forward, there also needs to be awareness that unlike with movies and tv shows, the "actors" are tied even more intrinsically to their characters. In name, appearance, and personality in some capacity or another. Because of this, be careful of what tropes you use and what it may be saying to your audience.

Most notably, I'd just like to urge all authors, whether it's your first time or your hundredth posting to ao3, please be sure to use robust tagging. It isn't just disheartening to potential readers when a fic isn't tagged properly with something they might not enjoy. It can potentially be extremely triggering. Especially with very dark topics like dehumanization, suicide ideation, self-harm, kidnapping, etc, etc. There's been a very strange and sudden surge of fics featuring topics such as slavery and/or ownership. If you truly want to write that kind of thing, I cannot stop you, but I beg of you, tag that shit. Tag it to hell and back. Everyone should have the ability to filter that out if they don't want to see it. Making readers walk in blind to potentially hurtful and disturbing topics is not cute.

If you are an author unsure of what tags to use, I recommend exploring what tags do exist and whether they apply to your fic. Additionally, I advocate for writing warning briefs either in the beginning or end notes. This can be a list of warnings relevant to the current chapter or a cut-and-dry summary of actions. Whatever works for you personally.

If you are a reader of one of my fics and believe I've missed tags/warnings, please let me know! I'm not a pinnacle in this fandom by any means and I always have room to grow and learn.

If you're a reader and truly dislike or are disgusted by what an author writes, don't send hate or death threats. Use ao3's blocking abilities and move on. I'm not pro-censorship, I'm pro-self-moderating.

He speaks soft words in hushed tones that would only be allowed for Techno to hear: “I’m sorry,” Tommy says, “I told you, though, didn’t I?”

“I can’t afford to be kind.” Tommy gently brushes a hand to move it away from Technoblade’s head. “It kills, you know?”

Technoblade, a child of the House of Virtue, was kidnapped by the Duke of the House of Prosecution. No one but Tommy knows this, but in a parallel future this will be the catalyst of his House's downfall. Through any means necessary, he tries to change things.
