[DTA] I have an idea. AU where the SBI(minus Tommy) are all similar-sized mers, probably around the 50fts, Tubbo is still a human and Tommy is this rare, almost extinct mer type called a kraken mer. Tubbo lives in a peaceful village near the beach, not really having a family but having lots of friends to help him, including Tommy, a strange boy that comes and goes. Kraken mers can turn human at will(only on the surface. They get legs and that's it), and can grow up to 200ft. [1/2]

Also, Tubbo must be terrified, finding out his best friend is this giant squid thing that can take down two giant mers at once-
[DTA] What if: a potion-or-curse-related mistake in the HybridAU turns Mouse Dream into a giant naga? Just. The idea of his boyfriends one day waking up to a 50ft-sized naga curled around them, holding them in their tail and not letting them escape. Dream waking up to suddently find his boyfriends way smaller than him, to a lack of legs and too much strenght. Dream reaching out to his boyfriends, scared and confused, only for them to flinch away from the naga they don't recognize... Angst...
Oh ooof-
All the bfs would be terrified to wake up to that, and when they don't see Dream (you said they don't recognize him) they're even more worried about their situation- was this naga just saving them for later? Why did he eat Dream first then?
Then when Dream wakes up he would be even more scared- he's not used to being this big or having this much strength, and seeing his bfs being terrified of him hurts, even after he's about to explain that it's him it still hurts to see them flinch back from all his large movements
The cats end up avoiding Dream while Sapnap tries to help teach him how to move as a naga- Dream tries to be as careful as possible but he still scares them no matter what, all because of some stupid size difference- now he has to wonder how much he hurt all of them when he was a tiny scared mouse trying to get used to being around giants
[DTA] Please forget my previous idea for Karl's first meeting with Krakennit. I got a better one now. Karl is a EXTREMELY RARE type of mer, one just slightly bigger than a human, and he was captured by pirates. The pirates end up making a stop at a small, deserted island located within an area said to be home to a merciless monster, and Karl is terrified. The pirates are talking about how much money they'll make when they sell Karl, when a pair of young boys appear from behind the

(I assume the two boys that showed up are Tommy and Tubbo?)
Tommy and Tubbo could have just killed the pirates, Tommy wouldn't have even had to grow back with the training he'd been doing with Dream- but, they know from past experience, that it's better to let someone leave so they can tell the "horrifying" story and more humans will then not do the same- so Tommy grows and hides Tubbo in his hair to scare the pirates into submission (and to give them a new cautionary tale about why people shouldn't trap mer-)
Once Karl is free and the pirates are gone, he gets to meet Tommy and Tubbo properly as they help him get back to the water, with the offer of being able to visit the shore near their village if he needs to- which he does since he can't swim halfway accross the ocean to get home again, and doesn't remember how to get back home anyways.
In the end, Karl makes himself a new home in this small alcove/reef near the village where he meets Sapnap- a smaller mer that usually hangs out in the alcove/reef as well so he's not stuck in a bucket on land all day- and Sapnap eventually introduces Karl to Quackity
[DTA] OKAY I'm going to make Ranboo a whale shark mer. Ranboo is just exploring, peeking at the village in curiosity. He didn't expect the small village to have hunters, or to be spotted, so he doesn't know what to do. Tommy panics and uses his tentacle to drag him underwater and to his cave, but it was just dark enough for his glow to be visible. BBH and Skeppy panic, thinking there was something EATING approaching mers. Everyone is just panicking. [1/2]

Yes! Ranboo doesn't freak out as he's pulled down and is curious since it's been awhile since he's heard anything about kracken mers
And yeah- Skeppy and Bad freak out alot because, holy muffin they have never seen a mer THAT BIG BEFORE-
[DTA] Krakennit AU. Tommy still calls others Big Man, even if they aren't actually a man, and even when he's bigger than litterally everyone else. The only exeption is Techno(Little Squid) and Wilbur(Little Fishy), since when they first met, Tommy went all out in the intimidation, baring his teeth, speaking in a low voice, pointing out the fact that yes, they might be big and scary to the humans, but they are just little nuisances to Tommy. Now he's salty and won't stop calling them that.

Oh yes I love this- just Techno and Wilbur whining to Tommy about how he never calls them big man and he just- "it's because your both little pussies!"
[DTA] They have no idea that Tommy is a god. They get some water so they won't die but even if Tommy blessed it it would just raise a lot of questions and possibly give him away. But, at some point, Wilbur goes too far. The gods do a meeting in order to discuss what to do, and Wilbur decides to threaten the humans. He picks up Tubbo and says he'll eat him if they don't tell how to purify the Crimson. The humans are horrified, Phil is ready to scold Wilbur, and Tommy? [1]
Oof- yeah-
Tommy is honestly ready to kill the other gods right then and there for threatening Tubbo- but doesn't, because they do in fact, need to stop the crimson. At least now the other gods are willing to listen to him and leave his family and his followers alone
[DTA] Yeah, Tubbo is terrified, but Tommy does all he can to show him and the village people that he would never ever ever harm them on purpose. Phil just hears about Tommy from Techno and Wilbur and got a little too curious. Tommy doesn't respond well to finding him so close to his territory so soon after the attack(Techno and Wibur didn't manage to hurt anyone before getting yeeted across the ocean btw). Also, the mers think he's an adult, and Maybe that he's being manipulated.

[DTA](I'm back!) With the Borrower God AU, I was actually thinking like: borrowers are like ants. There's more of them than there's humans and giants COMBINED. All the gods can size/shapeshift beetween their followers and their True Form(somewhat eldritch, grows like in the Gods AU). The thing is: none of the gods know about borrowers, and never tried getting smaller than a human. Tommy was created by borrowers, and is the personification of their lifestyle. [1/?]

These huge gods just keeping Dream and Tubbo in a cage as they ask them questions that the two human's aren't sure how to answer... While Tommy is getting an army together for a rescue mission- and hopefully only a rescue mission, he doesn't want borrowers to be found out nor does he want a war-
But also- I gotta wonder who the other gods are 👀 (my brain immediately went Dream Team- but idk-)
