...okay, but that post was about a very specific scenario.  And the person who was claiming victory (who, let the record state, is a Douchebros’ Entitlement Activist and therefore has a vested interest in playing victim) deliberately looked up a much wider category for his Gish gallop...and not only did said gallop do absolutely nothing to debunk the point of the specific scenario, but was blatantly (and characteristically) disingenuous.

Japanese tends to be more ungendered as a language than most. "Ano hito" (that person), "aitsu" (similar meaning, less respectful), and other words are more commonly used where we'd use "he" or "she". Secondly, Toei is always going to cover the gay where they can't use it for comedic value (case in point: Oren). Because Japan.

Seriously, tho: that post was not only going after a strawman, but missing the point in the same way that MRAs habitually miss the point (i.e. claiming that men as a whole have been wronged while ignoring men who actually have been wronged).
