ok I never fully understood the whole thing where like there's this community that has specially chosen heroes and whatever and the devise that chooses them is all knowing and never wrong and there's been an unexpected chosen one and its like why them and people are like OH IT MUST HAVE BEEN A MISTAKE. Like bruh you full believe in this system and thing that is choosing people but no this one time when you dont like the main character it's a mistake??? like what?? why are you doubting this thing???
Me watching the Crimes of Grindelwald:
WHERE ARE THE FANTASTIC BEASTS??? GIVE ME MORE FANTASTIC BEASTS AND LESS DRAMATIC INTRIGUE
Why is everyone wearing clothes that can fit into muggle society? J.K. established book 1 that this is not a thing. You can't change your mind now.
A love triangle bullshit really? This is so unnecessary. You have quirky characters already with some established drama (e.g. the inability of muggles and witches to marry and Newts tendency to search for beasts that destroy muggle cities). You don't need this stupidity.
This story would be way more interesting if you just took Grindlewald out of the story. Still have our hurt teenager and Newt antics. That's all you need.
Gratuitous name drops is so boring.
Well, at least that got manipulative Dumbledore down.
Dumbledore's actions would make a lot more sense if they had actually built into the story what J.K. claims- i.e. Dumbledore is a gay boy who loved another gay boy named Grindlewald.
Grindlewalds actions would also be way more compelling if he was openly gay. He not only had reasons to want to let wizards live in the open but to be allowed to live in the open with his love. We don't know how well pure bloods and wizarding society accept homosexuality, but at worst, we can assume that its Loras Tyrell GOT style existence, where pure bloods accept sometimes that some people have "peculiarities" but as long as they produce heirs it's not a big controversy on it's own.
It's been way too long since I've seen fantastic beasts.
Seriously, someone should time the amount of time that fantastic beasts are actually on screen.
I fucking hate the love triangle trope. So dumb. So unnecessary.
I'm happy that the women in this movie have truly been relegated to love interests and side characters. So happy. >:[

Prepare Yourselves: I'm Going to Hate on 'Chobits' #manga
My nine-part series, “Why I Hate Cardcaptor Sakura,” is consistently the most popular thing on this blog. In the last essay of that series, I promised a similar discussion of the insanely popular and bestselling Chobits, which is CLAMP’s homage to—or possibly their sly takedown of—the magical girlfriend/robot girl genre.
I hadn’t got around to this for several reasons, the main one being that,…

The Phoenix force obviously.
What you need to know is that The Phoenix force is headed for earth and seeking a new host, most likely Hope from The X-Men. Believing that the Phoenix Force will jump start the Mutant race, The X-Men are in favor of it returning. Although I thought Second Coming, and more so The Children's Crusade fixed the whole "No More Mutants" problem. This brings the Avengers and specifically Captain America, who declares war on the mutants and leads an invasion of Utopia because they are anti-Phoenix force. This of course leaves Wolverine stuck in the middle of both teams.
This information was all gathered by Newsarama from the most recent X-Men & Avengers solicits, and this sounds just dumb enough to be the cause of Avengers fighting X-Men. My biggest issue with this is forcing Wolverine to choose a side. Wolverine's an X-Men at the end of the day, not an Avenger. That plot point shouldn't even be an issue. Captain America invading Utopia seems so out of character that I wouldn't doubt that to actually happen. As much as I love superhero comics, it's events like this that set back mainstream comics and make most people still think comics are for adolescent boys.
