EITHER WAY, YES. imagine if at first Alison didn’t know she’s deaf, she just thought Beth was shy and quiet. but she notices Beth keeps staring at her lips while she talks. and she kind of feels awkward but at the same time Beth is really cute so she doesn’t really mind tbh it’s actually really hot. and then at one point Beth starts talking with signs and Alison thinks for herself OH GOD I ASSUMED SHE WAS ATTRACTED TO ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME I’M SUCH A BAD PERSON
