part 1/2
I was going to full colour this but uh… I'm tired of sitting on unfinished art! so BAM it's finished. part 2 still needs some cleaning up, I'll post it when I can 👀
i really wanted to draw this scene from my story where Orin is torturing Gortash with visions of Lilith, and he can't even murder her about it (I'm convinced this is partly why he's so haggard and underslept by the time we see him in act 2)

i'm a fountain of blood, in the shape of a girl
listen I am all on board for the whole durgetash thing where like, they are extremely destructive for each other (in a romantic way) and have super kinky bloody vicious sex. i think it's hot in a way that most ships aren't.
but my hc for my own durge (Lilith) is a little less like that. it's more like their bond is an upside down reflection of the terrible, corrupt, violent people they are. it's bloody and vicious at times, yes, of course--but not in a way where they like it like that. the way they love each other is real in a very basic human way, and in complete contrast to everything else about them. it becomes this sanctuary they create in each other that gives them a respite from everything their lives have made them and a glimpse of what it might've been like had none of it ever happened. they're not even really aware of it for the longest time because they don't have the luxury to ponder such things. but it draws their paths back toward one another over and over again, like a beacon in an unrelenting storm. they understand each other better than anyone else, it makes their bond unbreakable and that's also what makes it so dangerous.
this is why i really need to get some spoons for writing back (NEED. for my soul) because the giant fic i have outlined is basically just a character study justifying that whole dynamic and why they would turn against their gods for each other and more importantly, for themselves. it lives in my head rent free all day every day and i want to share it with the world!!!1
IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR. oTL
Haven't had a lot of time for personal art lately, but I finally finished Lilith's updated character sheet! I've been slooowly picking away at it since I posted her first character sheet ages ago >_>
See notes below (I promise there is a fanfic-related point to this stupid level of detail):
