i have a love hate relationship with being a writer bc I have so many ideas for fanfics or one shots and then it takes me AGES to actually execute them. i have a Toga x Reader request, currently writing both chapter SIX and SEVEN of Here Without You because of inspiration overload but no desire to finish, the whole plot idea of an Aizawa x Reader fanfic that I wanna call Get His Attention, and NOW I just got the brilliant idea of a fanfic with Enjin from Gachiakuta. Meanwhile I had like 20 unfinished brilliant one-shots sitting in my drafts. plus the million other hobbies I love to do like draw, read, fish keeping, embroidery, collecting, learning Spanish, and more I'm probably not even remembering

there have been multiple occasions this semester in which i have been asked "Have you tried doing speech to text?" when I talk about struggling to complete assignments for my poetry course because they are so long (multi-page written reading responses). However, it isn't the act of writing that is difficult for me, its adhd and executive dysfunction and the fact that i'm a perfectionist when it comes to writing assignments like these. but the funny thing is that its my poetry professor who has made this suggestion. the same professor who has read my novel length reading response to the mask of anarchy, but has also heard me try to speak out loud when I forget my meds which sounds like I am having a stroke while trying to speak in an unknown alien tongue that only consists of saying "uh" "um" and "like" 40 times

no thanks i will not be trying speech to text. that's like asking me to give a loaded gun to a stoned monkey who's been enjoying a few too many margaritas instead of a trained assassin. the assassin just doesn't wanna shoot sometimes.
