Twinsduo in a royal setting but techno works as a feared mercenary while wilbur is a royal bard and the fact that they’re related is not well known knowledge so king!phil is having a professional dinner with this mercenary he’s hiring to kill off some annoying enemies and for some reason his fuckass bard in the background keeps making very pointed comments and jokes in his song, making fun of the well trained killer who is giving a death glare over the table-

Wilbur gives the most evil little bastard smile as he finishes his song with a so humble bow and while Phil is staring at him baffled like “literally what are you doing-“ techno is climbing over the table with a dinner fork in hand with wilbur screaming and holding up his instrument as defensive weapon

Phil’s two seconds away from calling the guards in because he thinks wilbur just ensured his own death through insulting the wrong person and then he realizes techno is actually just waving the fork around in a rather harmless way and keeping back despite the fact wilbur is not swinging his lute all that threateningly and inbetween the hysterical screaming theyre also both giggling and smiling in a way that makes them both seem very oddly similar all of a sudden and the moment they calm down and actually face phil again he’s like “so you’re brothers.”

Thinking about the dynamic of neopolitan trio considering each other as brothers because Phil adopted them but Phil adopted them Separately and then disappeared out of nowhere and like. Techno and Wil KNOW about each other but theyve never met. Theyve sent a few letters here and there and Phil’s suggested a family dinner of sorts but they all kinda never got around to it and then Phil just. Poofed into thin air and now twinsduo are face to face with eachother for the first time like “oh ok so that’s my brother. Apparently.”

They both are utterly oblivious to Tommy’s existence too btw. until he shows up like “so do either of you know why dad’s gone missing” and they both go “WE HAVE A LITTLE BROTHER. AND PHIL DIDNT FUCKING SAY SHIT ABOUT IT??” Which isnt very surprising when they think harder about it bc Phil is just Like That he’s a bit odd, being a goddess’s husband and all

Its a very silly family dynamic. They all commit to the bit and insist they’re biological brothers even though they all look Nothing like each other. They all have wildly different perspectives on Phil. Techno is used to Phil gliding around and indulging in play fighting meanwhile Tommy didnt even know Phil had wings. Wilbur knows that Phil is married to a goddess and that Death is technically their adoptive mother and Techno slowly turns around like “he’s WHAT” when Wilbur says that aloud. Tommy is like “how did you not know that are you both deaf and blind because he does NOT shut up about his wife” but Tommy did not know about the goddess part ngl. They all have matching emerald jewelry from Phil and only realize it like a week in when Wilbur points out the fact that Tommy’s bracelet matches his necklace. Techno has it as an earring. Tommy insists he’s the favorite child because Phil visits him more often and both Techno and Wilbur are like “he visits you more often because we’re self sufficient and have more self preservation. Unlike you, who nearly walked off a cliff yesterday” “shut UP.”

Eventually they find Phil in the realm of the dead (he got killed in a fight, Kristin decided to kinda keep him for a bit instead of sending him back because she wanted to see if their kids would search for him and welp they sure did) Phil is like “oh good you all had bonding time! That’s nice.” “Dad we need to have a conversation about your lack of communicating certain details”

23: oh gosh. Well, from last month alone I almost died twice. The Odyssey but retold as a low-stakes modern adventure of one guy out with his girlfriend leaving the bar with his buddies to do just one (1) simple thing real quick, it'll take like 15 minutes tops, he'll be right back, but then some bullshit happens and the trip keeps getting more complicated as more bullshit keeps happening while he just tries to get back to the bar because he promised his girlfriend that he'd get back and he knows that she's still there because she told him she'd wait there.

And by the time he finally gets back it's almost 3 am and the bar is about to close while she's sitting there stone cold sober, surrounded by 5 drunk guys unsuccessfully trying to convince her to give up on waiting for him and go home with one of them instead. And the guy shows up to proceed to beat the shit out of them before explaining himself to her like hey sorry bullshit kept happening, my phone fell into a storm drain and my wallet got stolen when I was trying to find someone who'd borrow me a phone so I could call and

His girlfriend had been fending off the 5 drunk guys for most of the evening by explaining that even if she was going to ditch her boyfriend, she can't possibly leave without finishing her beer, which she is keeping perpetually full via careful sleight of hand where she's just pouring it back and forth into and out of the pitcher.

However the drunk guys are also drinking, and eventually she can't afford to buy another pitcher for the table so she can't keep up the ever-full beer glass trick. At this point she has to resort to setting up the pool trick shot that she's never seen anyone but her boyfriend pull off, and says she'll leave with whoever manages the shot first.

That buys her another hour or so and then, finally, her boyfriend makes it back. He looks like shit, hair down and just a mess, he's wearing an entirely different jacket that he got from an alley, and barely recognizable—especially to 5 guys who've been drunk for hours now. He lurks for a minute, finds out what's going on, and proceeds to pull off the trick shot first try. Throws the jacket off, fixes his hair with a hair tie his girlfriend lends him, finally looks like himself again, and THEN beats the shit out of them with the pool cue.
