such a leggy boi - i’m torn about whether to send Blue off to mate with a female or keep him and let him live out his life with me. Blue was my first T so he’s special to me but also grappling with the ethicality since it’s his purpose in life as a mature male.

I adore tarantulas. Unfortunately I don’t own this species, but it’s my favorite <3 This is the first time I’ve drawn a tarantula, so I’d like to get feedback from fellow T-lovers :) I’m thinking I might have to adjust the font size on these cards, but I’ll burn that bridge when I come to it.
Linus, my Hapalopus sp. Columbia “pumpkin patch,” plus a shot of her sitting on my arm so you can see how tiny she is. She was super chill today.
I don’t recommend handling tarantulas often. They don’t like it. But since I was transferring her to a new enclosure today, I took the opportunity to get a couple pictures.
