It’s been a while some here’s some more dwobbit Frodo
Headcanons/my canon with this version of Frodo
-Frodo loves the rookery and spends a lot of time up there, sharing Bilbos biscuits with his feathered friends
-Thorin makes Frodo a sword with a mithril core called Khazinul, or the silent fang. Light enough for his half Hobbit son to wield with terrifying speed and in near total silence.
-Frodo is never likely to become king unless it is for a very short time towards the end of his life, he will likely step out of succession all together unless something happens to both Fili and Kili. And as such Kili trains him to be Filis other guard and the pair of dark haired Durin men look like slinking shadows behind the future golden king of Erebor and so they are given the name ‘Dûmkhaz’ or ‘twin shadows’
-it wasn’t long after Erebor was reclaimed that Frodo came into the world and Thorin couldn’t justify dressing his son up too much while his people were still finding their footing so he got a lot of very over sized hand me downs, the only new items he got where knitted by Ori
Just a portrait from a scene in chapter 14 of “Finding My Way Back to You”.
Once he slipped into the outfit, he thought that they looked rather grand standing there as a family and smiled as he thought about asking Ori for a portrait to be drawn up of them so he could send it home to his mother. They weren't going to even touch the topic of telling his parents that they'd found Holm…that was a can of worms that could wait for later. But what was a better way then sending a portrait of their son, grandson, and long lost friend looking incredibly dapper together?
Scene from Chapter 14 under the break…
"Hmmm…Let me see…" Bilbo paused, and squinted as he inspected his son. "Black hair…same braids…your eyes are the same…same beads too…What do you think, Thorin?" Bilbo asked, turning to Thorin as he opened the door to their conjoined room, sneaking inside to not interrupt the precious moment.
"I think we look identical, Dushtel." Thorin grinned, scooping his son into his arms as they looked into the mirror together, grinning as Frodo's eyes widened at their nearly identical outfits.
"We…we look the same!" Frodo squealed in delight, his eyes sparkling and his cheeks round as he couldn't stop smiling his wide, toothy grin.
"We do! I told Master Dori that I wanted to look like the most amazing person…so I had him make me the same outfit you have." Thorin smiled, kissing his son's roses cheek before making the dwobbit laugh from the beard rub he gave right after.
"But what about Papa? Papa needs to wear something…" Frodo gasped as the king and prince took in the Thain's appearance.
"What? I can't show up covered in flour? I thought it was quite the statement…" He snorted, and walked to his wardrobe where he pulled out the outfit Dori had put there for him. "I suppose I'll wear this then…" He sighed dramatically, taking out a beautiful deep red outfit that was the perfect compliment to Thorin's and Frodo's Durin Blue.
While Thorin looked utterly ridiculous in hobbit attire, Bilbo looked very dashing in dwarven fashion. The long tunics, belts, and sashes and kaftans…they made Bilbo look elegant, noble, and powerful in a way that hobbit clothes just couldn't aspire to.
Someone has asked for assistance finding the following:
Bilbo is a dwobbit, i.e. half-dwarf, and one day he finds emeralds and other precious metals and stones in a cave under the Shire. He also has Stone Sense. One day Bofur comes by and recognizes Bilbo or Bilbo's clasp or necklace or something. He makes a print and goes back to the mountains. I don't know what happens next, but at some point Dwalin and Balin come along with the Durins (perhaps the rest of the company is there too) and meet Bilbo. When Bilbo hears of their plight, he shows them the mines and they then think that this is intentional so that the dwarves stay in the Shire. So that they protect the hobbits because they were made by the wife of Mahal and Mahal wanted to do her this favor or something like that.
I do believe I've found it!
Concerning Hobbits and Dwarves by Suryallee.
Be warned, it's unfinished and untouched since 2014.
My OC Clove (Took) Dwalinsdottir, a few sketches of her outfits particularly. The tiniest one is her outfit during the quest for erebor, which she technically should not have been apart of. The full-body and profile is around ten years post-quest, where she is now considered a Lady of Erebor.
Clove is the daughter of Dwalin and the late Donnamira Took.
i was in a lord of the rings mood and so i dressed like it, but also someone with amazing music taste got the aux in the dining hall, so today a bunch of people saw a pixie short lesbian dressed like a hobbit aggressively headbanging to bohemian rhapsody
