Every episode of this season has been a reminder how mistreated Chandler was last season

She and Brandon should be the ones gracing the ballroom floor right now

I’m done with this show I literally would have been fine if Chandler took second and Ilona won but they both lost?!? This show is so rigged like who the fuck was voting for Joey?!?

Okay I’ve been watching Dancing With The Stars this season and ofc I can’t like something casually so here’s a Batman DWTS au:

Maybe there’s been a bit too much online chatter about the Waynes and the bats being similar (or something else that would mean the Wayne’s or the bats or the jl need something to draw media attention) and they need something else in the media to draw attention. And so, Dick does what every straight woman in the country has been hoping for for years: he says yes to DWTS

I feel like Rylee would do good as his pro, cause they’re both very upbeat but hardworking people, plus Dick would probably have a bit of an easier time than Stephen with some of her choreography

But I’m not sure who the other stars on his season would be. I want at least one or two other DC characters, but other than that I feel like it should be either real life people or like. A made up bachelor or something

And of course Dicks first dance plays into the ridiculousness of the rumors as he shows up wearing a spirt halloween version of the cowl. He nearly freaked when Rylee first brought the idea up, but once he saw the cowl they wanted him to use (its made of felt and it does not, in fact, cover his face), he just couldn’t stop laughing for 15 minutes, at which point he agreed just to see the look on Bruce’s face (because you know B will be in the audience) when Dick, who has been Batman, comes dancing into the room with the shittiest possible imitation of the cowl on his head

Calling Anna Delvy a “fashionista and entrepreneur” is technically correct, but let’s be real, that’s not why she’s on dancing with the stars

this was originally going to be a post that was like "now why did ilona maher's dwts performance make me tear up" and be sort of joking but i actually want to write about it. there's something about a woman who is so strong and so powerful and so good at what she does showing off her muscles, showing off her athleticism, but not in a way that is directly related to athleticism. she is dancing (yes very athletic but that's another conversation) in a fairly revealing dress and she looks amazing. she is feminine and graceful and elegant and she does it all while having a not traditionally feminine body and i love it so much. there are so many times when women who are muscular, women who don't fit the stereotype, are stereotyped into more masculine roles, personalities, etc, regardless of their actual feelings on it and people do it to her too and this performance just feels like her showing who she is and declaring that you can be both - you can be athletic and feminine, that you can be muscular and elegant - and i just appreciate it so so much, she's amazing and a role model and just everything i wish i could've seen when i was younger
