BATCH RESPONSES INCOMING (because I can’t keep up with all of the messages if I commit to doodling for every single one....)
1.) Most of your overall shape is just going to be down to genetics. Can’t go wrong with heavy squats if you want that butt/leg thunder. Just make sure you’re doing other supplementary lifts to prevent imbalances should you find yourself dominating your squats with certain muscle groups. As for specific programming and diet/hormone manipulation, you’re better off scouring google for that sort of thing.
2.) Not that much. When I was bigger into lifting I think I had hit maybe 215 lbs for reps? It’s tough to recall cause that was so long ago now and I know I can’t hit that number now. Which brings us nicely to the next two questions:
3. and 4.) I used to be bigger into /fit/ness, but as life and the career took over I started to drift away from the church of iron and 4chan all at once. In my hay-day I was working through Starting Strength and got most of my lifts into a somewhat intermediate level for my manlet frame, but now that I’ve taken it upon myself to eschew studio employment I’ve found myself without a car to seek out iron, without money to rent access to it, and without means to jury-rig any of my own. I’m just stuck occasionally doing bodyweight/resistance band workouts in a small apartment.
The last few NYE comics have been done more out of a sense of obligation than genuine inspirato... If I could get back into it, I’d like to work up to my old numbers with a more personalized routine, as well as learning how to power clean, at least. Maybe I’d learn the other OLY lifts if I was feeling really ambitious and could find good coaching that my broke ass could afford.
