I would also have SUPER liked 🥹👍🏻 to see that we had had a scene of Rowan and Eleven 👍🏻🥹 during the fifth season of Stranger Things and that we had seen the actor 🥹👍🏻 of him having scenes with the actress of 👍🏻🥹Eleven and also because the two of them look tender and sweet together and it would have been SUPER cool and great 🥹👍🏻 also to have seen them together 👍🏻🥹 in the third season of Wednesday Addams and I would also have 🥹👍🏻SUPER liked to see that we had seen more 👍🏻🥹 of Rowan in the first episode and that we would have seen it 🥹👍🏻 have SUPER moments with Eleven

Alylan's interracial ship is 🥹👍🏻one of SUPER my Katie & Alexa favorites but also because I SUPER like that👍🏻🥹 Dylan and Alexa would have stayed together🥹👍🏻 although I also SUPER like the interracial ship of Alexa and Spencer together but👍🏻🥹 despite that the couple of 🥹👍🏻Dylan and Alexa together is my favorite of the series I also find it sweet and tender that the two of them 👍🏻🥹look like Eleven and Rowan together in another🥹👍🏻 universe that makes it seem that 👍🏻🥹it is multiverse

I also SUPER like Gwill's ship from🥹👍🏻 Sky High because although Gwen was not exactly a good person, I SUPER liked 👍🏻🥹the tender and sweet relationship that 🥹👍🏻she and Will had because the two are one of my favorite ships in the movie and also 👍🏻🥹because I SUPER liked the scenes that 🥹👍🏻Gwen and Will had together and I would have liked to see that the two had a SUPER cool and great 👍🏻🥹ending but also because I find it 🥹👍🏻sweet and tender that Gwen and Will in Sky High also 👍🏻🥹look like Eleven and Rowan together

I also SUPER like the ship 🥹👍🏻of Dylan and Summer from the movie Zoom academy of superheroes but 👍🏻🥹also because I SUPER like 🥹👍🏻the tender and adorable it seems that the two of them do together and also because I SUPER like that👍🏻🥹 the two of them that both look like each other also 🥹👍🏻 Rowan and Eleven together but also because I would have liked to see that 👍🏻🥹🥹we would have had a second movie 🥹👍🏻 of Zoom and the superheroes and that we could have seen again 👍🏻🥹Dylan and Summer together in the movie

I also SUPER like🥹👍🏻 Rimu's ship from the kpop movie demon hunters but also because I think 👍🏻🥹that the two of them look like Rowan and Eleven together 🥹👍🏻although I especially felt that when I saw his "free" song in the movie because 👍🏻🥹I felt that his song had also been🥹👍🏻 made for the Rowleven ship but also because I imagined Rowan and Eleven 👍🏻🥹having the same aspects as Jinu and Rumi together🥹👍🏻in the movie but also because I SUPER like👍🏻🥹 the couple of Rowan and Eleven together although I would have liked to see that we had🥹👍🏻 had a scene of them 👍🏻🥹two together in their series

I also SUPER like 🥹👍🏻Nictor's interracial ship because I feel that the two of them also resemble👍🏻🥹 Rowan and Eleven but also because 🥹👍🏻I SUPER liked their relationship in the movie Zombies fourth although that was mostly 👍🏻🥹when I saw them have their "dream come true" scene 🥹👍🏻when they sang because I feel that their song had also been made for 👍🏻🥹Rowan and Eleven together but also because 🥹👍🏻I hope we have a fifth zombie movie in which we see again👍🏻🥹 Victor and Nova together again

Fictober 2019 Day 3–“Now? Now you listen to me?”

There was no denying that Zak and Fiskerton were best friends. After everything they had been through together, it was only right to see them together nearly every moment. Even someone who wasn’t familiar with cryptids was able to appreciate the special bond shared between the young teen and the friendly gorilla-cat.

However, they were not immune to disagreements. As expected of any pair of brothers, they had their fair share of fights every now and then. Today was one of those days.

Drew was enjoying a quiet cup of tea in the kitchen one afternoon when her sixteen year-old son came stomping in. He plopped down at the table in the seat across from his mother, scowling.

“Everything okay, Zak?”

Zak scoffed.

“Fisk is so sensitive. He’s been mad at me since this morning, and he still won’t talk to me. He won’t even take off the headphones that I lent him to let me apologize.”

Drew couldn’t help the smirk. Although she couldn’t remember many fights she and Doyle had had before they had been separated, she remembered plenty of the ones they had in recent years. Now that she had been reunited with her brother, she was much less worried about any petty disagreement that she witnessed between Zak and Fiskerton.

“What exactly did you say to make him mad at you?”

Zak sighed.

“I may have said he smells like wet dog.”

Drew laughed.

“To be fair, you don’t always smell like a fresh garden either, kiddo.”

“No, but you don’t see me giving you the cold shoulder like a baby when you tell me to take a shower. Seriously, he is such a baby sometimes.”

“Hey!”

Their attention was drawn to the entrance of the kitchen. Fiskerton was standing there, Zak’s headphones hanging off his neck.

“Oh crap,” Zak said. “Fisk, wait, I didn’t mean—“

Fiskerton stormed off, mumbling angrily to himself. Zak, with a frustrated groan, let his head drop down on the table, face first, in defeat.

“Now? Now he listens to me?”

Drew chuckled lightly, placing a sympathetic hand on her son’s shoulder.

For those of you who don’t know me very well, The Secret Saturdays was my absolute favorite cartoon as a kid. It was actually the show that got me into fanfiction and fandom, and it’s also the show that inspired me to start writing. I owe a lot to Jay Stephens, and since today is the show’s 11-year anniversary, I thought I’d honor it by including it in my Fictober challenge. It really deserved a lot more love than it got...I’m incredibly grateful for everything it has given me.

My writing still feels pretty choppy and rough, but I’m definitely feeling myself improve and I feel like the flow is slowly coming back! I’m so excited and proud of myself for doing this.

I understand your post about feeling hurt after all this time. I’ve been hugely supportive of the VLD staff since day one, and I’ve refused to say anything negative about the show...but how can I not with this new season? I feel hurt and betrayed. And although I’ll still watch whatever new content they make in the future, I don’t know if I’ll be able to trust them anymore. My heart is broken. But they got me through so much with Avatar when I was young, so I can’t just turn my back on them.

You and me both. I defended the show from what I thought were harsh and invalid criticisms, but now it feels like I wasted valuable time getting invested in it. Even though it’s just a show and I’m going to move on, I don’t know what I’m going to do next regarding the show. I might write another fic to vent my frustrations. It’s just so upsetting knowing that I invested all that time and effort only to get smacked in the face like that.

I LOVED the characters. I LOVED the community around it, even when it got toxic. I got upset when Keith was inexplicably written off (I still don’t know why that happened), but I was thrilled he came back. And now this. I just... What was it all for!?
