Enter version two of my infamous ramp patch jacket. Most people who know me in the local aviation community have seen me wearing this rather flamboyant, and perhaps even ridiculous looking safety vest. However it's designed for safety as well as being unique, and even a conversation piece. Every one of the patches represents either a place I have been, an aircraft I have seen up close, and on several occasions flown in. As most people in my local aviation circle know. When I am working on an active ramp (especially as a photog), I wear a loud and rather flamboyant safety vest. What's makes my vest so unique is that it's covered in patches representing many of my adventures. Sadly safety vests are not designed to last, and this one has lasted 4 years. So now it's time to "depatch" the old vest.
