Please don't h please tell me how the creation of PC came to be, I love her so much
Ooooh yesssss. Okay! A tiny fraction of PC’s creation was actually shown in one of the universe scenes at the epilogue of the Fractal Probability (a fix-it fic I made over on ao3; go read it), but here’s the FULL explanation (as best I can manage)
PC was made from the love Puppet has for Foxy. The two had been talking about one day having a kid, and Puppet’s love for Foxy was so potent and true that it somehow made it literally happen. She grew within Puppet’s heart… or something like that. I don’t think even Puppet fully knows or understands what their daughter exactly is or how she even works. Yippee to strange eldritch children!
Eclipse then made the vessel for PC to inhabit for when she was born. Puppet and Foxy made the idea for the blueprint and Eclipse created the final thing. Without her body, PC appears as a tiny little fox of light similar to how Puppet’s “true form” looked when they were outside their body.
When she was born, Puppet transferred the part of themself that was PC into the body that had been made, which then changed from a lifeless doll-puppet-animatronic-thing into PC. It was like pulling a very long and sharp thorn/splinter out of your skin, but instead it was a star-thing that was actually also your daughter from your heart that also functions as a pocket dimension because you’re a cosmic entity. I guess. It was a draining process, but a lot less traumatic and gory than actual pregnancy lmao ToT
Don’t know how much you can tell, but PC in general is very Coraline-inspired haha (you can especially tell by the original vessel) (also Matilda-inspired, too! In terms of personality and such)
PC was the kind of baby that was so ugly she was cute. She gets it from her dad <3
The “ultrasound” photo is indeed exactly what PC looked like before she was fully realized into a person. She was a little star thing in Puppet’s heart that grew brighter and brighter each day
Along with being the creator of PC’s vessel, Eclipse is also the godfather (Puppet’s choice :] ). Monty is the godmother (Foxy’s choice). Eclipse and Monty still don’t get along lmao
