Jack Frost, jittery (the emotion), and... kazoo (the noun)
You're terrible. I'm so glad we know each other.
--
"My one condition, mate," Bunnymund said, holding up the thin box wrapped in a shiny red ribbon, "Is that ya cannot use this gift in my presence." "Cryptic," Jack remarked. "Ominous. What did you get me? I haven't even opened it yet, and I'm already tempted." Tooth and North chuckled from the other side of the table, Sandy's dreamsand fluttering with a silent laugh, but Bunnymund kept his game face on. "I mean it, Frostbite," Bunny warned, sliding the package across the tabletop and into Jack's open palms. "This is a privilege, not a right. I am trustin' ya with this power. Use it only against my enemies." "You mean my enemies?" Jack teased. "...I said what I said." Bunnymund sniffed. "Alright," Jack said indulgently, as he unwound the ribbon and lifted the lid off his gift, peeking in with curiosity. "So what kind of weapon--" The words died in his throat. Tooth glanced worriedly around the table, then back to him, when Jack failed to speak. "Jack?" she asked. "Everything okay?" Jack was dead silent. "Do not keep us waiting, Jack," North insisted. "Come! Show us your gift!" Instead, Jack placed the box on the table and pressed his palms together in front of his face, staring down at the box. "Now," Bunnymund picked up right where he left off. "On an unrelated note, I seem to've accidentally left North's Christmas prezzie back home in the Warren." Jack began to vibrate. "I will be gone fer 'bout an hour. Give or take." Jack was practically jittering out of his seat. "I trust ya know what t'do." Jack nodded, hands raised in anticipation to snatch up his prize from its cradle. With a smug tilt of his head, Bunny remarked, "Ta, mate," and quickly disappeared down a rabbit hole he summoned in the floor. "Bunny, wait, what--" Tooth began, but he was already gone. Huffing, she turned to the group, bewildered. "What was that about?" she asked, to an equally confused North, who responded with a shrug. It was Sandy who remembered, with a dawning horror, the Easter Bilby incident - a prank the three of them had pulled on Bunny, years before Jack joined, which had spiraled wildly out of control. Bunny always swore he'd get them back for corrupting his myth on his own home continent, but, crucially, he'd never followed through. Until today, Sandy thought grimly, and raised his hands to cover his ears. Just in time. Mere seconds later, Jack took the Kazoo out of its gift box, took a deep breath, and blew.

I finally thought of a fun way to decorate this little wooden bilby, as a chocolate one!
Also, Easter bilbies Bill and Julius helped me with some egg hiding again this morning. Teeny eggs all over the living room.
Happy (very late) Easter! Have an Easter Bu- wait a minute, that doesn’t look like a rabbit…
So I was recently reminded that Australians have the Easter Bilby, and I really wanted to look for an excuse to draw @kittyzombiehah’s old fursona Derg, so I guess this is the best I could think of.
Also, if you correctly guess what the eggs are referencing… I don’t know, I’ll give you a cookie or something
E. Aster Bilbymund
an art piece for easter. I'm really happy with how this turned out!
The Easter Bilby
Drawing a Pikmin with my attempts at drawing ✍️ a Easter Bilby figure
Think I need to do some more Bilby study to get better at drawing them before Australian Easter 🐣 pops up
