Hello! I love your blog so much >A< Do you guys have ideas for colour blind AU? :D Thank you!!
awwww, thank you!! :D Here are some colour blind aus:
person a raising up enough money via extra jobs and asking the community to buy those glasses that let colour blind people see all colours and person b being so happy they just. start sobbing
pure colour blindness - someone asking which colour looks better against their skintone and person a just going “uhhhhh, I just see grey??? wrong person to go shopping with pal”
“what?? these totally match!” omfg N O they are maroon pants and an off-purple shirt “oh, I thought they were the same colour” who taught you to have your pants and shirt the same colour??????
person a getting frustrated because ofc their best friend had to choose yellow/greenish colours for their wedding and person a is yellow/green colourblind
person a having to call person b to help because they just don’t know what to do
ot3 - person b is red/green colour blind so they have to call person c to help the hopeless messes
person a being a model so they never have to worry about choosing their clothes most of the time but then person b sees them laying about at home and??? the style works but the colours clash so bad???
person a having to do a colouring assignment (like label a map) but some colours are just so similar?? so they have to ask person b to help
color-coded drink labels. and the nightmare that ensues because someone mixed up the colours
I hope these work for you!! :D

"L. Sabourin, Draft Evader, Gets Jail Term," Ottawa Journal. June 26, 1942. Page 1 & 16. ---- Wouldn't Respond After Rejection By Air Force ---- Lucien Sabourin, 23, of 122 Cedar street, Eastview, was sentenced, to four months in jail and fined $100 in Eastview court this morning when he pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to report for compulsory military training. In default of the fine, Sabourin must serve an extra two months, or six months in all.
First charge of its kind in Military District No. 3. it was laid by Royal Canadian Mounted Police under the National War Services Regulations.
The charge read: "Lucien Sabourin, Eastview, having been called out, did fail or refuse to report within the time limited by and in accordance with the terms of the notice given him on May 29, 1942, contrary to Section 31 of the National War Services Regulations, 1940".
Sentenced Before. In asking for a severe penalty Crown Attorney Raoul Mercier pointed out to Magistrate A. H. Lieff that Sabourin had been sen- tenced in the same court to a term of six months on June 20, 1941, for having blank registration cards in his possession.
"The Department takes a serious view in these cases", the Crown Attorney declared. "It is a flagrant case and an example must be made. He is fit and it is his duty to take military service. He has made breaches before and now is the time to nip this thing in the bud."
Mr. Mercier said the maximum penalty was 12 months and a fine of $200.
Sabourin refused his notice sent to his home. Then it was served personally by R.C.M.P, Constable. K. R. Ruddick on May 29 and he was instructed to report at Cornwall. Failing to do so, he was arrested on June 19 by R.C.M.P. Constable J. F. Smith.
Constable Smith said he arrested Sabourin while he was working in a produce store in Ottawa. The officer stated he secured work there by telling his employers that he was military exempt because he was only 16.
Faked Letter. He presented a letter of refeence from his former employer, but later admitted that he himself, wrote the document because his employer could neither write nor speak English.
Constable Smith stated Sabourin attempted to enlist with the R.C. A.F. December 1, 1941, but a letter of rejection sent to his home, March 5, 1942, was returned unopened.
"He said he didn't want to join the army if they didn't want him in the air force and if he did join he would steal until he was discharged", the officer related, in stating Sabourin was fit for military service.
Constable Ruddick said police were called in when his first no- tice of May 20, 1942, was return- ed. He said notice to report then was served personally, together, with a requisition for transportation to Cornwall.
Prefers Air Force. "I wanted to get in the air force, but they told me they wouldn't take me", Sabourin said. "I do want to do some training. I'm willing - I'm not scared. Everybody seems to have a choice. but I didn't."
"If he wants to enlist, he can put his case before the military court", said Magistrate Lieff, in passing sentence. "He still will have to do his training when he gets out."
"Eastview Landlord Fined in Court," Ottawa Journal. February 13, 1942. Page 23. ---- First case of its kind in Eastview, Ronald Chartrand, 227 Marier Road, was fined $10, plus costs, in Eastview Court this morning for a violation of the Wartime Leasehold Regulations. Evidence revealed that John Birtch, occupying the other section of the duplex home at 227 Marier Road, had been paying $13 per month rent on January 1, 1940, but after receiving a notice from Chartrand began paying $15 per month on May 1, 1941. Birtch stated he started paying the higher rent on May 1 to both Mr. and Mrs. Chartrand on different occasions. John Mirsky, counsel for the defendant, claimed that the rents were paid to Mrs. Chartrand and that her husband had no knowledge of proceedings. "She may have been wearing the pants in the family, but he paid money to Mr. Chartrand", commented Magistrate Lieff. M. H. Fyfe, enforcement counsel for the Eastern Ontario Region of the board, stated that sufficient knowledge has been provided landlords governing the raising of rents and in asking for a sufficient fine. The charge was laid by Samuel Grandmaison, investigator of the War Time Prices and Trade Board.
