There's still no azaleas at the Azalea State Natural Reserve, but I found a few other blooms. All of the above are twinberry honeysuckle (Lonicera involucrata). Check the blog post for more.
Click for map. It's April, so time to check on the azaleas. The web page for the reserve says they should be blooming in April and May

I love checking out local trails. This trail had actually been in rough condition for a while, according to reviews on AllTrails, but the reviews recently had gotten better so we decided to hike it.
