But Antony Byrne is so good! And has actual characterization because they didn't cut the whole reason he is being accused!

I ended up liking him a lot! I remember you warning me before I watched THC that they cut most of the setup before the duel, and yeahhhhhhhhh. I do not understand why, of all the scenes to cut, they cut the one that explains all the things. I had to consult Wikipedia to figure out what the heck was going on with Surprise James Purefoy who only existed for five minutes. Antony Byrne + the full text made Mowbray someone that I was sad to see go, and drove home how inconsistent Richard can be/ how privileged Bolingbroke’s position is.

What production are you watching?

The RSC David Tennant one! It’s RLY GOOD. I’ve wanted to watch it for awhile, and BBC has it up for worldwide streaming now.

He isn’t, though his mustache is as much of a Dad Mustache as one can get. It’s the kind of mustache that would care too hard about the outcome of a youth soccer game.  (This play shows that he is very much Worcester’s brother, though, which is interesting to watch.)

This is really nice! I love the highlights. (Also, have you ever tried watercolor pencils? They’re a good transition into developing regular colored pencil techniques.)

Thanks! And I have! I... don’t really like those all that much either. I guess I’m just a paint person, though I suppose I should be using watercolor pencils for my gouache underdrawings instead of using graphite and then working extra hard to try to cover it all up.
