Not to much to add, except to say that it’s so rare for a film crew to be able to capture a colony of Napoleons in their natural habitat! I highly recommend this documentary for anyone who is interested in adopting a Napoleon.

15) what's a canon scene you can't stop thinking about?

oh god there are SO MANY, but one that i always find myself going back to is... pretty much the entirety of chapter 97 (post-bathtub scene, after they've gone on different rooms)

we just... see a part of wei wuxian that is SO different from anything we had before. he's insecure, he's vulnerable, he's ashamed, he's feeling guilty because he thinks he took advantage of the closest friend he has now and he's so scared of losing him because of it. and depending on what your interpretation of the bathtub scene is, that's not even true!

HE'S HUMAN!! it's raw, it's painful and it's DELICIOUS. i can't even count how many times i've re-read/re-listened to that scene in the audio drama, it never fails to make me feel just. so many things at once. i love it, god, it's just heartwrenching an dthe fact that, in general, the stakes are so so low compared to everything else we've seen, but it still manages to be so grueling because we CARE about these characters. ahhhh. thank u mxtx, that was a great scene

5. Jin Guangshan—absolute not. No. Literally would not trust him with anything except the hideous elephant teapot my gma gave me and you KNOW he's not using that for tea and also i never ever want it back.

2. Nie Mingjue — I think it would be fine. Possibly he would finally acquire and put together the IKEA furniture I've been meaning to look at for two weeks but have just replaced with random boxes. He would enjoy the bike bath here a lot probably. I am skeptical about whether or not my plants would be okay but I think mostly they would just need a little TLC once I got back.

1. Lan Qiren — look i just. I trust him. I think he would be dismayed by the lack of natural light but would keep everything very orderly and probably bestow parenting tips upon my landlady whether she wanted them or not. Also likely that he would determine that my apartment is not laid out in the best manner and rearrange and like honestly? I'm okay with it. Do feel like he would not vibe with my color scheme but my traitor-ass plants would probs flourish under his care

Give me 5 characters and a number, and I will put them in preference order for that situation

yes! there are many lovely and delightful and morally excellent characters who hang out with the amis without being sworn members of a political group that is actively, literally, trying to overthrow the government!

Probably lynxes. (Lynx?) Also lately drawn to foxes and hedgehogs. And my childhood self would be mad at me if I didn’t mention horses. You may be noticing a theme here.

Would you rather...wake up and find yourself in a for-real DnD campaign (you can choose your class), or at the 1832 Paris barricade (historical or Les Miserables, your choice)?

DnD campaign. My chances of survival are going to vary wildly depending on DM style and campaign, but 5th edition is generally not too fatal for PCs. Even if I’m unlucky and wake up in, say, Tomb of Horrors, there’s always the option of retiring from the adventurer life before I actually have to fight a Lich King. And maybe I’ll be lucky and it’ll be something more urban and social like Waterdeep Dragon Heist!

(My class is going to be cleric so I constantly have healing spells and buffs but can still wear armor; clerics are rad.)

1832 I have to deal with bullets and possible cholera and police troubles without cool magic powers and armor buffs. No thank you!
