Attention!!!

Attention witches, nature lovers, or anyone else interested who may not have heard about this yet:

On Thursday, January 23, the search site Ecosia will be using 100% of its profits to plant trees in Australia. Ecosia searches usually plant trees in a variety of places around the world but on Thursday they will be partnering with a local organization called ReForest Now to help counteract the deforestation caused by the bushfires in Australia.

If you’re wanting to help the bushfire situation but are in a situation where that feels impossible, this could be for you!

Ecosia users plant trees in Australia after the bushfires

The trees will be planted without delay. We also have long-term plans.

On Thursday, we called on the Ecosia community to help Australia. So many of you used Ecosia and asked your friends to do the same. The result? We are now able to plant 26,446 trees in the Byron Bay area in New South Wales, which has been affected by the bushfires.

We will immediately begin to plant these trees with the NGO ReForest Now! We also have longer-term plans to restore this subtropical landscape by reforesting cleared land that is no longer used for agriculture.
