You know what is so touching to me?

Seeing so many people say they're "excited" for or "intrigued" by Liv's asexuality storyline.

Do you know how meaningful that is when the general concensus seems to be that characters like that are 'boring' or that people wouldn't be interested in ace characters because they might not have multiple love interests or affairs etc or if they have relationships they might not be your typical "steamy soap" relationship.

There's always the idea that Gabby brought up, that life isn't complete without having a relationship or falling in love or had an intimate relationship etc. We are surrounded by the message that you haven't achieved adulthood until you've done that, or that you will never be happy until you do that or that you will never be complete and that hurts sometimes because what happens when you're potentially just not capable of doing this thing that people say is the pinnacle of all life?! Liv's response is the response I give every single time - I don't need that to be happy.

I'm big enough and strong enough to not necessarily have those thing reflect how I see myself and my own worth but it really warms my heart when I see those comments because that little voice in your head that tells you that you might be less interesting or exciting or that your life will never be complete gets a little quieter.

Just thank you for that. I can only speak for myself here as others may not feel at all like I do but not only are we getting something shown that is like gold dust, I've seen so much support for the storyline and that means the absolute world, honestly. 💜🖤

I LOVE YOU ALL. I feel like doing an Aaron and declaring everything and yelling about it.

I’ve had a bottle of Bucks Fizz with my housemate and Aaron and Rob are all cute and heartachingly romantic and Charity and Vanessa were pissed and giggly and adorable and Rob has a big group of ridiculous lady friends who make him down shots and play ‘never have I ever’ and make him dance and Vanessa likes Rob as in actually likes him and Bernice was a terrible but perfect wing man and Vic was an unknowing matchmaker and Aaron insulted Rob’s music taste because he likes Swifty and dodgy 90s cheesy pop and they held hands and my hand holding anon got their dream and they yelled but it was romantic yelling and they were truthful and honest and then Rob stood in the dark like the dramatic bastard he is and listened to Adele and then Charity was a human and told Ness she wants SOME STRINGS and Rob and Aaron squished each other because they love each other so much and everything was perfect.So ditto!
