Haha, I love a good era tag and this one is a favourite!

There is no lie though because this is full on romcom stuff!

Cain/Moira had this angsty, kind of weird drawn out and depressingly tortured reunion. We’re getting this strangely charged miscommunication riddled romcom with near kisses and jumping out of bathroom windows and almost confessions and sad mopey stares and heart eyes and intimate meals etc…

For a couple like these two whose relationship is built on criminal behaviour, a history of mega angst and not a great deal of stability… it’s BRILLIANT. Aaron has never really been the romantic hero before, he’s always been the one that romance kind of happens to, he has rarely gone AFTER it or been the one chasing. We had Rob as the romantic hero for so long and then last year happened…!

It’s so much fun! It’s a whole new dynamic for them and they weirdly suit it. They can strangely easily slot into this kind of storyline because the love is so obvious and it only gets funnier because of who they are… like, if you look at how crap they are as boyfriends or all of the parallels to past stuff.

It’s all hilarious and soapy and ridiculous but also has a pretty decent amount of emotional weight to it which makes it really GOOD. A lot of the time, they give this stuff to couples who don’t have that weight behind them so it feels a little empty and procedural but with these two, you kind of WANT them to have the cliche rom com stuff as they never get that kind of nice storyline!!

I can’t wait for this week. I love seeing this side to Aaron and I can’t WAIT for Rob to have the rug pulled from under him in the best way possible… and I want yelling - lots of yelling!!!! ☺️

I LOVE YOU ALL. I feel like doing an Aaron and declaring everything and yelling about it.

I’ve had a bottle of Bucks Fizz with my housemate and Aaron and Rob are all cute and heartachingly romantic and Charity and Vanessa were pissed and giggly and adorable and Rob has a big group of ridiculous lady friends who make him down shots and play ‘never have I ever’ and make him dance and Vanessa likes Rob as in actually likes him and Bernice was a terrible but perfect wing man and Vic was an unknowing matchmaker and Aaron insulted Rob’s music taste because he likes Swifty and dodgy 90s cheesy pop and they held hands and my hand holding anon got their dream and they yelled but it was romantic yelling and they were truthful and honest and then Rob stood in the dark like the dramatic bastard he is and listened to Adele and then Charity was a human and told Ness she wants SOME STRINGS and Rob and Aaron squished each other because they love each other so much and everything was perfect.So ditto!
