OK, the leading ladies of my 2 favorite movies of 2022 in one photo ahhhh (!) What if they were both in the SAME movie?

A buddy movie obviously

Action-drama-comedy

Them against the world

Justice delivered, as well as kicks to the head, continuous Empress Georgiou style sass, and the *coolest* outfits

Maybe/ probably Janelle Monae also does the soundtrack.

Coincidentally both have played multiple characters in the same story/ franchise and were excellent

Coincidentally both have experience with scifi/ speculative fiction storytelling, but this movie doesn't necessarily have to be either

The last scene is the two of them walking away from an enormous explosion. Maybe one last guy tries to get up and is re-kicked.

Post-credits scene may also have additional re-kicking.

Everything Everywhere All at Once gives me deep feeling about the relationship between Evelyn and her father. I really couldn't imagine being abandoned by my parents who no longer claim me as a daughter. To several many decades later needing to take charge of my father's care in he's old age and being reached out to by the state is the way I found out

And to be rejected by your family for marrying a man one could only imagine what he would say about Joy coming out and dating women.

Only to then once again be confronted with the fact that your father's different now more mellow more accepting and you didn't even get to enjoy it. I personally don't think Evelyn at the beginning of the movie could have accepted it the way she could at the end. Realizing you didn't get the best version of someone(especially your parents) can really be something to contend with
