Pamestos pirštinės

vaikystėje mama man 

prie pirštinių prisiūdavo 

gumytę, kad nepamesčiau

labai teisingai darė

nes paskui, kai jau nebebuvo 

kam prisiūti gumyčių, 

jas nuolat pamesdavau

mano gyvenimo kelias

nuklotas pamestomis 

vienišomis pirštinėmis

dabar pasenau, ir jau 

daugiau beveik niekad 

nebepametu pirštinės

gal tai ir yra 

viso gyvenimo 

prasmė ir esmė

Kartais truputį, prisiekiu, netyčia Išplečiu akis pernelyg garsiai, Šimtais rankų dengiu savo veidą, Pažadu, kad save sutvarkysiu, Spardau mintis žodžiu “tiesiog”.

Šiandien galiu išskiesti rankas, Judinti tinkamus veido raumenis; Žinau, kad vėl beldžiasi skerdžiamas Gyvūlys, kuris nepaiso taisyklių.

Man liepta bėgti ir užsidaryti Į narvą, kuris sukaltas Iš gerų intencijų, aš dorai lipu Kur paprašytas, susikalu sau Stiklinį namelį, jame tyliai pritūpiu Ir gaminu veidrodžius, galbūt pagaliau Bent viename iš jų vėl atpažinsiu Savo portretą, aš jo taip Pasiilgau.

Laimė gyvenime

Būtų puikus laiko praleidmas jeigu išgirsčiau tavo širdies plakimą                   Leisk man išsklaidyti visas abejones ir išpildyti karščiausias tavo svajones

The Cafe Eiles is one of these Viennese coffee shops which combines culture and splendor. Here you can enjoy the Viennese coffee house culture and the atmosphere of the many theaters nearby. This café is built in a palace of the  days of the Habsburg monarchy, located very close to the famous Viennese Ring Road. The waiters are friendly and polite and give you the time for what you have come here. The food served here is delicious: I had a Viennese breakfast (they serve until 14:00) with boiled egg, two rolls, marmalade, butter and a coffee, tea or tea of your choice, I choose a Cafe Melange. This is for less than 7 euros with this splendor and atmosphere a very good deal for the center of Vienna. Another time here at Café Eiles I chose a Kleiner Brauner Coffee, this typical Viennese coffee, together with the House Tart (Haustorte), a delicious chocolate tart with dark berry marmalade. I figured out, they also serve meals here such as the Sacher Würstel, special Wiener Sausages.

The seating is comfy mostly in sofa style and serves you well for having a chat or reading the newspapers. So for whatever reason you came to the Café Eiles is a great place to have your Viennese Coffee House experience.

The Bottom Line: The Café Eiles is a great coffee shop, one of these fancy Viennese coffee houses, where you can spend a great time with good food and great elegant and artsy atmosphere.

Helmut Qualtinger, Oskar Werner, Alfred Polgar, Peter Altenberg, Arthur Schnitzler, Thomas Bernhard, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt und  Architekt Otto Wagner gehörten u.a. seinerzeit zur Wiener Kaffeehauskultur - wie das Glas Wasser zum Kaffee.

Das Wiener Kaffeehaus war früher (vor allem) auch beliebter Treffpunkt von Karten und Billard-Spielern und avancierte sehr schnell zum zweiten Wohnzimmer.

Der österreichische Schriftsteller Peter Altenberg soll angeblich sein Stammcafe, das Cafe Central, sogar als seine Wohnadresse angegeben haben. „Im Kaffeehaus sitzen Leute, die alleine sein wollen, aber dazu Gesellschaft brauchen“–dieser legendäre Satz vom Schriftsteller Alfred Polgar, beschreibt das Lebensgefühl in einem typischen Wiener Kaffeehaus sehr gut.

Man kann im Kaffeehaus wunderbar arbeiten (früher mit Block und Bleistift, heute mit Laptop und Wlan), oder sich mit einer Lektüre bei einer Melange und Mehlspeise etwas die Zeit vertreiben.

Wer keine Zeit mitbringt und nur schnell auf einen Kaffee-„to-go“vorbeikommen möchte, sollte vielleicht davon absehen ein Wiener Kaffeehaus besuchen zu wollen.   In einem typischen Wiener Kaffeehaus, wie dem Cafe Eiles, findet man die nötige Ruhe um für Stunden abzuschalten.
