was here for their lunch time dim sum couple weekends ago, it’s a good thing that the restaurant is spacious, so it’s not packed or crowded. reservation is still recommended though, else it depends on your luck.
we ordered the piggy salted egg yolk bun, fried prawn rolls, steamed prawn dumplings, prawn rice noodles, chive dumplings, fried cod fish, fish balls and fried carrot cake to share, with a pot of chinese tea.
the food portion is just nice for two, i like that it’s not too big or small. the piggy buns are quite cute, and the salted egg yolk filling is quite good. i also like the chive dumpling, the flavor is nice with the condiments. prawn rice noodles come with a really appetizing dried prawn chili, which matches really well. carrot cake wasn’t fried enough, so it was slightly too soft.
the pricing of the dim sum is pretty standard for a chinese restaurant, service was slightly lacking though, even though there’s a lot of staff working, it seems quite messy and not so easy to ask for service.
