Stefan walked through the hallways of the Mystic Falls High School,  adjusting his backpack on his shoulder. He looked at his schedule and saw that his first subject was Civics. Being a transfer student during junior year wasn't easy; especially when people were staring at him as he had walked through the crowd of people on the front lawn of the high school. As he turned into the next hall, the green-eyed boy ran into someone and he stumbled back, not before grabbing the person, a girl's elbows to keep her steady. "Hey..sorry," he said, looking at her for a moment. Wow..she was beautiful. "You okay?" he asked, clearing his throat and offering her a small smile.

this is the only place in six months that's even said yes to an interview and i can't get there. so im' really not in a good place right now.

Her words trailed off not sure of how to answer this question in particular. Katherine knew how this was going to end eventually. There was no storybook happily ever after in their future.  Even if she wanted to stay she couldn't. Klaus was still after her and Elena had no idea about the supernatural world. She still thought vampire, ghosts, witches where still things in movies and scary stories.

How could it ever work between them?

                                                        It couldn't.

Her eyes averted to the ground for a moment before she looked back up confidently and with a an almost nonchalant attitude.

"She'll get over it, and we'll be back to our little game before you know it. Don't you worry."
