Sowing elephant garlic.
Dreaming of SUMMER! A view through my veggie garden gate 2 years ago. I’ve let it grow a bit wild to attract pollinators. Looks like I may have killed off some of my strawberries letting the tomatoes travel over top of them. I’ll need to be more careful this year to not let them rot from being covered up!
I love growing alliums. A bee is enjoying my Elephant Garlic bloom.
Now thats a nice clove of garlic! Trying out elephant garlic next year cos this stuff is HUGE next to my regular purple variety. Elephant has a slightly milder taste but makes up for it with quantity. I think i will like this one cooked as a clove in the oven to be eaten straight with a roast. YUMMMMM!
