Forming a curved end to a bed in the Beth Chatto Dry Garden, Essex, the vivid pink flowers of Bergenia 'Barcock' (elephant ears) greet visitors. The rounded, evergreen leaves of the perennial Bergenia species are a characteristic signature plant of this Dry Garden.
