I will get to a point in life where I find the right combination of herbs, use them to serve tea to guests (who have come to seek my aid), then also burn some of the herbs in a clay pot and have them inhale. Make them put on weird talismans and dance around a stick in my backyard, and be their guide for navigating the fae realm

My sons always loved it when I would make up a bedtime tale with them as the heroes of the story! I surprised myself with how I could make up stories on the spot, but as the hour was late when I told them, I found that I always forgot the stories completely by the following morning. Those stories are all lost now, but they served their purpose, which was to spend time every night with my kids, doing something fun. Fortunately for me, there are always more stories to tell.
