Prologue: First Date [ELI] [None dirty]
Note: This is my first scenario so I hope that you'd like it!~ Any comments, opinions and or suggestions are welcomed. :)
With both your earphones in full volume, you tried to focus, as you were studying for a quiz which you were about to have for your next subject, when Eli suddenly approached you and sat on the chair in front of you.
You didn't mind him at first, since you thought that he was just going to talk with your guy seatmate, but then, he suddenly sat on the chair in front of you and waved a hand in front of your lecture which you were reading.
It was just then that you realized that he wanted to say something. You looked at him, though you were trying to fully concentrate on reviewing, you still managed to say: 'Hmmmm?' and he responded by slowly and timidly saying: '_________-ah, will you go out with me on Friday?' His words didn't really get through to you at first, which is why you asked again: 'Eli, what did you say?', which made him respond in a VERY LOUD VOICE: '_________-ah, I've liked you for a long time now, would you please go out with me on Friday?' It was loud enough for everyone else in your class to hear, loud enough for everyone to suddenly chant, cheer and tease the two of you and call the two of you as the 'pigeon couple', which immediately sent Eli to be even more shy and, you, yourself to blush in 5 different shades of crimson. Then everything came to halt a stop when a guy classmate of yours suddenly started to tease you and eventually influenced everyone else in class to tell you as well to: 'ANSWER HIM! ANSWER HIM! ANSWER HIM!'
Everyone in class was so hyped up to not even notice that your teacher already came inside of your classroom, and because of that, your teacher had to bang the door of your room when she came in, in order to gather everyone's attention that everyone needs to settle down since she's already there and she's about to give a quiz.
So with no other choice left, the whole class settled down and everyone went back to their seats. While everyone else in class sighed, since the hyped up mood had just turned back once again to normal, and Eli let out an even heavier sigh since it seems that you didn't want to go out with him, you on the other side, mentally thanked your teacher, for she saved you the face, from being teased by everyone else in class.
As the teacher started giving out the papers for your examination, you couldn't help yourself to look at Eli even just for a split-second, but after that gaze, you immediately looked back at your paper, for it made you feel shy when you met his gaze 'cause he,himself, was directly looking at you.
Looking back at your paper, you tried to focus on your quiz, yet you suddenly felt a smile and blush creeping up your cheeks and lips. And as you answered the quiz, you couldn't help but feel the butterflies in your stomach because of how flattered and happy you are because of the guy whom you've like for a long time as well's confession.
Time passed and you didn't notice, that one by one, your classmates already started to pass their papers and leave the room, and you sighed and told yourself that just like what happens whenever there are exams and/or quizzes, you might be the only student left on the room, again.
-A few more minutes slipped by-
After quite some time, your teacher announced that the time allotted to answer the quiz is over, which is why you should already pass your paper/s whether or not you finished the quiz.
Even though you finished your quiz quite late, you still had a satisfied feeling deep inside of you, since you had the confidence in yourself that all of the answers that you've written are correct.
As you were walking towards your teacher, you suddenly noticed that someone, or rather, another classmate of yours, was also walking towards your teacher and it surprised you since it was one of the first few times that someone finished as late as you did, but then you were even more surprised when you realized that the classmate of yours who was walking towards your teacher was none other than Eli.
Your teacher got both of your papers and told the two of you to erase the board, fix the chairs and turn off the lights before leaving the classroom, since the two of you would be the last ones to leave.
After your teacher left the room, you went to the board to erase the writings only to find that you can't fully erase all of the writings since you weren't tall enough to be able to do it by yourself, and just then, Eli gently got the eraser out of your grasp, because he saw that you cannot erase the writings left on the upper portion of the board.
It was all too awkward at first, but after Eli finished erasing the writings on the chalk board, you voluntarily said that you'll get water from the comfort room, wipe the chalk board with damp cloth soaked in water, so that it'd look all new, the following day.
And after you got a basin of water from the comfort room, Eli, once again tried to help, so he tried to get the basin from you yet, you denied him the ability of doing so, instead of handing the basin to him, you turned to keep the basin out of his arms' and hands' range, but in the process of doing so, you accidentally spilled some of the water and Eli can't help but let out a laugh at your clumsy action which led you to be a bit soaked.
'YAH! Eli-sshi why are you laughing!?' you asked at him a bit mad. '_________-ah, I'm sorry, but I think you really look funny because you were clumsy and....' and before Eli could even finish what he was about to say, you already splashed some of the water in his face in order to get your 'revenge' from him for laughing at you.
He also splashed water on you, and you tried to get back at him for doing so. The afternoon went by full of fun, laughter and constant teasing. You didn't notice that time slipped by like that, til' you suddenly became all too close to him, and he as well, suddenly became all too close to you, and that was just when the two of you realized that you've emptied the water content of the basin, and that you should already stop what the two of you have been doing, and proceed on finishing the task of cleaning the class room.
You could tell by yourself, that the atmosphere you worked into with him, while fixing the chairs, picking up litters and cleaning the class room in its entirety, is all better and a bit lighter too.
Inevitably, there was still some constant teasing as the two of you had been trying to accomplish the task assigned, but nobody dared bring up the topic about Eli's act of asking you to go out earlier that afternoon.
The two of you finished the task in a few more minutes and when it was finally time to go home, you told him that you were gonna go ahead since it's already a bit late and your mom is already worried why you're not yet home, so you went to the door, then looked back at him who was still fixing his books and notes, and said: 'Eli-sshi~' and he responded: 'Dae, _________-ah?' and you continued with what you were saying and mumbled shyly: 'about what you told me earlier this afternoon, hmmmm..., I'll see you this Friday afternoon after class.'
Eli wasn't sure about how to respond, but surely, you saw how happy he was when you agreed to start going out going out with him, and you also saw how tensed and nervous he became when you brought up the topic that the two of you have been avoiding earlier, but nonetheless, he will always be your first crush, that first love whom you've had feelings for ever since middle high school, just that you've always lacked the confidence and strength to tell him how you feel, and now that the chance is all yours, you know that you could no longer let it go and drift away just like how it did before.
Your running thoughts were suddenly interrupted when Eli said timidly: '_________-ah, thank you...., so uh, I'll see you on Friday after class...?' You laughed at Eli's nervous response and confidently told him: 'Yup, on Friday, don't be late okay!?' Eli smiled and said with much more confidence: 'Don't worry, ________-ah, I won't be late.'
You smiled and him and told him that you need to go already, the two of you said your good byes and take cares, yet can't help but smile and feel happy while still together.
You went ahead of Eli because your mom sent you another message, worried about where you are and why you still haven't gone home, you replied immediately to your mom, and while walking on your way home, you couldn't help but smile and feel butterflies in your stomach remembering each and every word Eli told you before you went home: '_________-ah, bye!~ Take Care! I'll see you tomorrow!~'
Those words were nothing but ordinary for others, but to hear from Eli that he was looking forward to see you the next day just spelled the biggest difference of hearing those words from a common classmate and from 'him'.
