Lily got up as quietly as she could, trying her best not to wake up Elias. This had been a bad idea, though she wasn’t entirely sure why, it was just a gut feeling. she grabbed the first shirt she could reach off the floor, though judging by how long it was it definitely wasn’t hers, and snuck into the bathroom. The cool water felt nice on her face and woke her up enough to find her shorts as she reentered his bedroom. “I’m, uhm, I’m gonna go..” she told him quietly as he rolled over.

When Nic awoke it was dark, but it took only seconds before he shoved Gideon hard out of the bed, wondering how in the hell he could’ve ended up like this. “You have five seconds to get out before I castrate you,” he growled threateningly. “You’re in my flat you idiot!” Came the retort from the older boy, and as Nic realized the truth in the statement, he jumped out of bed and dressed as quickly as he possibly could. “Tell anyone about this and I’ll kill you,” he huffed as he headed out the door, leaving it wide open as he apparated away as soon as he was outside.

“It must be the champagne.” She shrugged. It was a polite excuse to give him. She was using alcohol as a defence when she was still perfectly lucid, growing up attending those kind of parties made you build a tolerance. The truth was that she was finally tired of the constant rejections she was met with whenever she tried to talk to him. They were not in school anymore and she did not need him. She did not want to be mean but she was weary of being the one making efforts. He did not want her friendship, then she would add him to the long list of people who did not care about her. It was time to move on.
