Im just starting hunting for silence and I wondered what kind of influence lilly will have over her sisters lives after she marries ambrose. She has financial influence but also status. She should be able to shelter Ella from unwanted suitors or even persuade her aunt to accept Edmund right?

And I also wonder about Gertrude..... We don't hear/see much of her but I can't help but think she would be an excellent character to throw in later just to completely surprise Lilly. Like, turns out she's been disguising herself as a male and keeping a job for years. Or, turns out she's actually been carrying on an affair with a woman she met at a ball years back, and was just able to keep her mouth shut about it. Or maybe she disguised herself and got an education? Idk something like that would be a cool way to bring about a closer connection between these two characters that don't really talk much

And then there's Karim. Does he have a wife somewhere out there? A litter of small karims running around? 👀
