Wellllll she’s not all GSD that’s for sure but wow!

Gabby got her Embark results back and I’m thrilled! Kelli and I had narrowed her down to a German Shepherd / Sight hound mix, but there’s no hound in her (probably)! Her age estimate is about five years, which seems right, though her weight is off (she’s 51lbs). I can’t say I blame them for that one, considering she’s made of a lot of larger dog breeds and is somehow smaller instead. Seriously though, I can barely see a bunch of these breeds in her, and it amuses me to no end just how much of a mutt she truly is. I love her to bits, and now I’m tempted to try Wisdom Panel since they cover more breeds than Embark. I’m glad I went with Embark though because they do a screening for up to 160 health issues and she came back super clear and healthy! She’s a carrier for one small thing but it would only become a problem if I bred her (she’s fixed).

So what is Gabby? A supermutt! :D
