well this answers...some questions. his mother was pure shar pei, and was related to some actual show dogs; his father was mostly cattle dog with a side of aussie + chow. he has no immediate relatives on embark, but there are some more distant ones. he is clear of all health conditions and a carrier for one, but he’s also neutered so no issues there. they predicted his adult weight at 45--he is 45 right now but I’d like that down at least 5 lbs.

honestly I’m not surprised. he looks sooo ACD/shar pei and has so many guarding & herding behaviors. or he would, if he weren’t currently drugged to the gills and passed out in his bed, after getting the last two heartworm shots!

Rin’s embark results! Actually the chow chow doesn’t surprise me, she’s got tiny feet and straight jocks like the chow chow, and that’s probably where she got her dilute gene from. This is better than Wisdom Panel that said my dog was half chow half affenpinscher 😆

Okay y'all buckle in. I had a BC that passed away last fall. We bought her from a (shitty) breeder as a BC. She looked and acted like a BC. And then Darwin's Ark comes along, and I got her results. And.

9% BC!!!!! Wack!!! Discuss this with me please.

Mr. Fox got his DNA re run. First pic is before and second pic is after the re run. I’m pretty happy with it. His supermutt before the re run was australian terrier, silky terrier and field spaniel. Australian terrier and silky were both added after the re run so that’s pretty cool. His supermutt now is american pit bull terrier, english cocker spaniel and german spitz. So his second biggest percentage is still a mystery
