Flexing some of the visual research I did in the process of developing this character pose sheet :) I actually do quite a lot of visual research for each project I take on, but I generally don't post them alongside the designs. Thought it might be interesting to include it for a change!

I posted a black and white version of this sheet a couple months ago, but I thought it would be fun to add the colors since I had already determined a color scheme for the design! OC-tober Day 2: A New OC - Emerisle Meridian

Not all of my entries will be blue, the colour just happened to fit both him and Siikya lmao

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but here is a character lineup I've been working on! These are kiddos attending a magical academy on an island secluded from the non-magical world. The four on the left all attend the academy together and eventually encounter their spiky looking friend on the right. Hijinks ensue!
