I had a snow day today, which gave me plenty of time to catch up on the work I missed from being sick on Monday. I'm having a lot of problems getting motivated because I feel so bogged down with work. But it's getting better. Keep your head up!

Semester Two - Readings
I officially started my lectures for Semester 2 today! I have been set 2 books to read in 2 weeks already! Which I was really concerned about because the workload is already heavier this year, however the first book - Just Mercy I have barely been able to put down. I can literally not recommend this book more highly especially for anyone who enjoys learning about the law or social injustice. I was so excited to get back into it at uni! Ready for the grind again!
8.21.17 // 1:30pm // this week (esta semana)
ahhhh this is my last week of freedom and i kinda want to cry. back to school we go :( xoxo, m
ahhhh esta es mi última semana de libertad y quiero llorar un poco. es hora de regresar a la escuela :( tqm, m
So I signed up for classes today for the new quarter. One class is at 1:00 to 3:15 the next one isn't until 5pm, I have an online class that I could do in between but like what do I do? I'm a commuter student so I can't really just leave and come back
Hey!
Ohhh that’s quite the break! As someone who had to commute to uni I defs feel your struggle.
Here’s a few tips on how to use that time:
Catching up on work/ Getting ahead
I think doing parts of your online class would be an effective way to use up that time. Alternatively use it to get started on any assignments and notes you have for your other classes.
Prioritise the tasks/ assessments that you need university resources for (e.g. library, software etc).
That way, if you have a ‘complete day’ at uni, it may free up some time on your weekends/ at home.
Meeting up with friends etc.
A huge part of university life (and life in general) is balancing study and ‘life’.
Use that time to catch up with a friend, or someone you haven’t seen in a while. Even if it’s for a quick coffee, or via skype, or messenger etc.
Having those fixed hours when you’re free makes it easier to schedule things - and hey, gives you a break as well.
Catching up with correspondence
If you’re anything like me, your inbox is always overflowing with 10101984017489718 emails - whether it be student emails or “hey this is the new sale we’ve got on!”
Use that dead time to deal with emails and correspondence. It’s a low-stress activity to do, which will help you feel productive and organised (even when you feel like your brain is tired from class!).
Relax
Take the time to relax. This could be mindlessly scrolling tumblr, watching yt videos, jounraling etc.
It does sound like you have a very long day at uni (and that’s not even counting the time you have to commute!).
Use this time to relax and refresh for the class ahead (and/or the huge study session you may need ot have when you get home!).

I love this one! I wanted to jump straight into autumn as soon as September started. 😊🍂
(Load for better focus, I'm sorry!)
1/100 days of productivity!
Some homework for my German class and I am so happy that it is Friday.
