It had been a year now ever since Emma defeated the black fairy and peace finally came to Storybrooke.
She finally married the love of her life Killian Jones and couldn’t wish for any happier life. Her son Henry was all grown up and searching for his own happy ending in another realm.
Emma was sleeping in the sofa with baby Cassidy in her arms as Killian got home. He saw her peacefully sleeping, he walked over to them and placed a soft kiss on Cassidy’s and Emma’s forehead.
Killian placed his bag gently on the ground, trying not to disturb them, as Emma opened her eyes softly.
“Killian?” – Emma spoke in a deep sleepy voice. Killian walked over to her and shushed her “I’m here darling”.
Emma seated herself better, trying not to wake Cassidy. She rubbed her eyes and yawned.
“How was your work day?” – she yawned one more time. “Great, it’s a shame I can’t bring my lovely ladies to work” – He took Cassidy in his arms and placed her in her crib.
Emma got up and walked over to the counter to poor herself a cup of coffee.
“Heard anything from Henry?” – Killian asked her, handing Emma a cup.
“No not yet” – she poured herself some coffee and gestured to Killian if he wanted to have some as well.
He shook his head “I bet he’s doing an amazing job in Hyperion Hight’s”.
Emma nodded “He sure is, I miss him so much, but It gives me comfort that Regina, Gold and the other version of you are there to protect him.”
Killian stepped next to Emma and pulled her close to give her a kiss against her sleep. “He’s in save hands … or one for my others version” – Killian laughed and showed his own hook to her.
Emma giggled a bit before she took a sip from her coffee.
“So how about diner at Granny’s?” – Killian clapped his hands together and Emma shushed him.
“Be careful or you’ll wake Cassidy.” – Killian shushed himself and continued in a hushed tone “How does that sound? you can always ask Snow and Charming to come along?”
Emma thought deep, she hummed “It’s been a while since we ate at Granny’s…”
“Great!” – Killian cheered “I’ll prepare Cassidy while you call your parents”.
Emma had no idea why Killian was so cheery about going to Granny’s. Yes, the food was great, and it had become your favourite place to come together but the way Killian was so eager to go there confused her.
She took a few more sips of her coffee before she pulled out her phone and called her Parents: Snow and David.
Killian had awoken Cassidy from her sleep and was dressing her up.
“How’s daddy’s little pirate girl?” – Killian spoke to her in a childish voice, Cassidy laughed as Killian tickled her tummy.
Emma got off the phone and heard Killian’s sweet talk to Cassidy, she stopped at the doorway as she watched Killian dress up Cassidy while playing with her.
She couldn’t help but smile at the display. Emma never thought she could find her happy ending with being the saviour and all meant she had to fight of every villain that came to Storybrooke or the enchanted forest.
She was happy now that her Hero days are over, now she had more time to appreciate the little things in live.
And then the thought of Henry crossed her mind, she’d never cared for him as she did now for Cassidy. She was young and stupid when she decided to give him up for adoption.
The feeling that Henry grew up without his really mother or father ate away at her. She herself was an orphan almost her entire life until Henry showed up at her doorstep and dragged her to Storybrooke to meet her real parents: Snow White and Prince Charming or as his real name is David.
It was hard in the beginning since everyone was under the curse of the evil queen, so they couldn’t remember who they were.
When it finally broke and they embraced each other the rollercoaster of family started. Emma had her ups and downs with her family but in the end, she was more than happy with the life she had built up.
She was grateful that Regina aka the evil queen but not so evil anymore now adopted Henry. How Emma wished she’s had seen Henry grown up. His first words, first baby steps, first friends and all.
A single tear fell as she stared at the display with Henry stuck in her mind.
She quickly wiped it away and walked towards the living room. Emma always had a hard time showing her feelings. Being an orphan made her the person she is today, with the help of her long-lost family, new friends and newly husband she opened up more and more every day.
Killian walked into the room with Cassidy in his arms “Ready love?” – Emma wiped her face one more time as she stood with her back to him.
She nodded to him as he had turned herself around and grabbed her coat. Cassidy was placed inside her stroller and the three of them went to Granny’s.
On the way to Granny’s Emma was quieter than ever, finally arriving Killian held the door open for her as she pushed Cassidy’s stroller inside.
Emma was shocked when she looked around her almost all her friends were there: Snow, David, Baby Neill, Jiminy cricket, Geppetto and August (Pinocchio) and Granny.
Everyone walked over to her and greeted her with hugs or kisses. Emma was overwhelmed by the love she got. Still this little meeting wasn’t the same without her greatest friends: Regina, Henry, Gold who she grew very fond of in time and Zelena who despite her background turned out to be a loving woman.
Killian who was embracing everyone else stopped and looked at Emma. “You alright love?”
Emma nodded again “I … I don’t know what to say … Thank you all for being here but why are we here?”
“I believe I have the answer to that” – a sudden voice called out from behind the little crowd. Emma’s eyes widened and started to fill up with tears as she saw Henry her son make his way through the crowd.
“Henry” – Emma whispered as he tried to stop her lips from trembling, “Hello Mother” – Henry spoke as he embraced her.
Emma wrapped her arms tight around his body and started to cry soft “Henry I … I love you so much” – She whispered to him.
“I know” – he whispered back to her “I love you too Mom”. – they then released themselves from the hug and A child ran to Henry’s body and grabbed him tight.
Emma looked down and saw Lucy: Henry’s daughter embraces him. A few moments later Jacinda or Cinderella from the other realm stepped next to Henry.
“it’s good to see you Emma” – Jacinda embraced Emma and then Lucy.
“But … How … I don’t understand …” – Emma stuttered as she tried to figure out Henry got here.
Henry looked over to the crowd and a familiar person came through the crowd. “Regina?” – Emma spoke soft as the next loading of tears fell.
“Good to see you Swan” – Emma stumbled forward and almost fell with Regina in her arms as she embraced her.
As they released themselves from the hug Killian spoke “I thought this would cheer you up.”
Emma smiled soft at Killian “And besides” – Regina started “I couldn’t let you celebrate your birthday on your own”.
Emma’s knees started to shake “My birthday?” – she whispered. With all the commotion of parenthood, worrying about Henry, dealing with her own problems she had completely forgotten about it.
Meanwhile Zelena and Gold stepped from behind the crowd and greeted Emma from afar.
“I … I can’t believe you all came?” – Emma was still shaking as she felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked behind her and saw Henry supporting her.
Snow and David stepped closer and presented Emma her first present. “Happy birthday my sweet Princess” – David spoke as he embraced her.
“Thank you so much Mom and Dad” – Emma said between her tears.
Everyone then each gave Emma her present and wished her a happy birthday as Emma kept smiling between her tears.
Killian Winked at her as she looked at him brief. Emma was the happiest girl today, not because it was her birthday but because she was together with all the people she loved and cared for.
“Who wants some cake?” – Granny shouted as she held a piece of cake on a plate in her hand.
Everyone cheered, and Granny started to hand out the cake.
Henry wrapped his one arms around Emma’s shoulder and she pinched his hand. “I’ve missed you so much Henry and I’m sorry if I ever let you down …”
Henry looked confused at her “You never did” – he then kissed her near her sleep they both then watched everyone talking and celebration the family bond as Emma placed her head against his shoulder.

So Thursday of @katsucon I was dressed as Emma Swan and my BF was dressed at Killian Jones Hook and we were in the middle of a photoshoot when all of a sudden he yelled I love you loud and dropped down on one knee. I though it was a joke for the shoot when a ring came out and he asked me to marry him. Me and him both feel like our life's are rough like hook n swans lives were. So we gave each other the nickname. At first I couldn't answer but I did say yes.
