When my (now ex) WoL was growing up, she was raised by the Ascian Emmerololth, who was at the time hiding in Sharlayan. Emmerololth was keeping tabs on the Sharlayans, having heard rumors of their possession of the primal Eureka.

Emmerololth raised Katt in Sharlayan from a young age, when she had found the young orphaned miqo'te lost in the Dravanian wilderness.

However, Emet-Selch had warned her that the miqo'te possessed the soul of an enemy from long ago; the ancient fae queen Mab. Emmerololth ignored the warnings, believing the young girl had much potential.
