My biggest pet peeve in BL and rom-com series are when they give up their dreams, goals and aspirations for love. I am a big advocate on everyone in their series having their own individuality for a healthy relationship…BUT THE WAY NAME CRIED AT THAT BUS STOP MADE ME FORGET EVERYTHING! Name spoke his first sentence, stood there visibly holding back tears, began crying, and then left me a book that is pretty much the story of how we met…I WOULD’VE FOLDED OR MOVED HIM INTO MY ROOM! My heart needs some fluff after this week of intensity and angst.

I’m at a loss about how to articulate myself about the new episode of Remember Me. Especially about Name.

The boy is so isolated and hurt and now he finds out that apparently Em doesn’t even care that people call him “the mute boy”

Give the boy a damn hug already.

I’m really hoping Em comes through in the next few episodes. I hate that it will take Name’s Mom collapsing and potentially dying for it happen, but better late than never.

REMEMBER ME the series random thoughts...

So, I haven't watched Between Us yet, so instead I'm gonna talk about Remember Me, this is episode 5, so you can avoid spoilers if you're not caught up. We FINALLY got some real interaction with Gulf and Gun(Korn???🙄) (played by Ja and First from Don't Say No) and it is fascinating. Like they were excellent in DSN, they're why I decided to watch Remember Me, but seeing them act as strangers just getting to know each other with all the nervousness and weirdness of not knowing someone and also being attracted--they're doing it excellently. But it's fascinating to me because in DSN their best friends who know each other better than anyone, and IRL they're at the very least colleagues who've known and been working together for 2 years, so it must be such a switch. Just wanted to mention it.

I'm loving the whole show, but I am an emotional wreck with Name's story, that sweet bean is just tearing my heart apart. And then there's Champ's story/relationship with his grandpa...I lost my grandpa just last year and we had a very similar relationship and it's a mix between making me smile and making me want to cry

Soo...if you haven't watched or hadn't thought you'd want to...it's an excellent show with a good balance of sweet and sad and humor, but it will make you feel something for sure.
