Violet, Xaden, Tairn, and Sgaeyl are in a battle on foot. Suddenly, they need to get their asses out of there, so the riders mount up by instinct... except Violet was closer to Sgaeyl, and Xaden was closer to Tairn. So somehow, they ended up on each other's dragon.

None of the 4 even realise until they're flying away, and by then they're too busy fighting to bother switching back 😂 Sgaeyl in particular is grumpy about it because she has to fly carefully because Violet can't hold on properly, but does it anyway for Tairn and Xaden... and because there's a very grudging, small affection for the loud-mouthed, silver haired pain in the ass who defended Andarna at Threshing.
