they’re really good games made by Valve, portal is a first person puzzle game (and one of my fav games of All Time) where you use a portal gun to make interdimensional doorways to solve puzzles in an underground science facility. it’s really funny and what few characters it has are great and its absolutely worth a play :D (they get hella cheap on steam during the summer and winter sales, we are talking like. $3 for both the first and second games.) and half life is a game set in the same universe from a rival science company (they were both racing to invent portal technology) who accidentally caused the apocalypse and a bunch of aliens came through to earth because of it and now earth is ruled by some asshole aliens who wanna kill humanity and You Have To Stop Them.

ive been into portal for four years and ive only completely finished the half life games recently so i know waaaay more about portal than half life so i hope my crappy explanation of HL is… decent. xD
