Kay but after so many years can someone please explain Bleach ending 16 to me please.
Wait there’s a Wilford ending in AHWM? I thought that I had seen every ending. How do I get to it.
Heads up for some minor spoilers.
So, Imma just tell ya the choices
First choice: Guns BlazingSecond: Helicopter Third: Charm The Guards Fouth: What’s That?Fifth: Hell No!Sixth: Go with the PlanSeventh: Open the BoxBoom! Wilford.
this is my THL conspiracy route post where i will be gathering my thoughts on all the endings for this route in one convenient place. spoilers for ending 15 through 22 under the cut.
Ending 17 - Conspiracy Route: Plans Exposed
ive been putting the route i got first in these posts for posterity or whatever but i think its super interesting that it doesnt matter with this route. the conceit of the route is that every end is a bad and the worst end of all is at the end this maze of choices that at any point leads to its own bad end is cute. i dont like it, but i think it makes sense.
its called conspiracy route because the whole time gotoh (god of what exactly? the owl house? i feel like that is somehow going to be super important) is conspiring against us. every moment is a tightrope walk of bad decisions. a thing i found no joy in. the only interesting thing, and the thing i clocked immediately was that obviously i dont actually have a choice here for taking the pill and joining gotoh, but the third choice is hiruko and kurara. and while hiruko had obviously already been brainwashed, i wasn't convinced she's want out of this life.
and she didnt, girl immediately ratted us out. and that's just a really interesting thing for her to do. her trust of sirei is a trait i dont fully understand yet and i dont think it really will until i get to that ultra locked route.
the fact we pick kurara because she's emotionally vulnerable is the kind of sad sack shit a real conspiracy nut would do but idk. im not all that confident that takumi would think like that yknow. maybe that's just me.
the other thing about this route is that having done 2NS i just can't get invested in this whole thing. like gotoh is obviously feeding us half-truths and its so uninteresting for that. we don't even learn anything about the oosuzuki family here. i guess this is just a route similar to serial battles where its a concept rather than a story.
serial battles is conceptually about the endlessness of war, but then it just doesn't stick the landing. conspiracy is about how falling down the rabbit hole and blindly trusting in half-truths can only lead to disaster. is it unfair that takumi has literally no choice and no say in the outcomes of this route? of course. that's the point, i just think the point doesn't come out properly and the whole thing is a mess because of that.
it feels like the routes that aren't coming out as well are the ones that are messing with takumi's agency. like endless battle had no choices till the end, and then the choices there were meaningless. here there's many choices and all of them are equally meaningless, except for the last one which as expected was the worst one of all.
anyway 2/10 route explained by ending 22 title (lambs to the slaughter.), appeal to emotion, sunk cost fallacy and so on and so forth.
Fairy tail 30 day challenge. Day 7. Favourite ending. Kokoro no kagi (ending 16)
Opinion I'll Probably get Stoned For #77
Ending 16 is the best Fairy Tail ending, musically. And I like the way the visuals in this ending played out.
