12) Have you ever made a moodboard for a fic? (Do you want to share it?)

For Time Undone, I did save some fanart on Pinterest that give off the nostalgic angsty love vibe, but I can't share them since some don't have the proper credits attached. The ones below are for Endless Nightmare.

I don't tend to make moodboards for writing though—I do it for header designs that are more than a simple photo/clip with a quote on top. Whenever I struggle to picture something, I just Google, stare very hard, then go back to my writing and close the tab when I'm done.

21) What is something that no one has caught about one of your fics?

There's one from Endless Nightmare! When Caleb has to hurt MC, he only touches her with his bionic right hand. He doesn't want to feel it.

I kept waiting for someone to catch this, but perhaps it was too subtle. I love sneaking in details and scenes that seem inconsequential but end up serving a purpose. It enriches the story and is so fun to do!

The Truth...

Beelzebub heard Crowley’s speech, but it was so hard to focus on anything with the hair-raising, all-consuming fear around them that felt like it was draining their soul slowly. And who knows- maybe it was. They managed a shaky nod, still backing away from the terrors. Asmodeus’ words made them turn a little to face him, and they opened their mouth to speak, but was cut off by Gabriel swinging at them with his sword again. They pushed Asmodeus away from them, barely managing to evade the hit. “Stop that!” They snapped, at Gabriel and at the other remaining nightmares. “I’m not going to fight you. You can’t make me.” 

“Oh, I think we can make you do whatever we want...” Lucifer purred once more, stepping forward into their space again, this time making to grab them. They moved out of the way, hissing. 

“No. You can’t.”

“Beelzebub. Please.” The voice made Beelzebub freeze and they whipped around to face the familiar face, the one who had gone silent once Crowley had shown up.

Samandiriel emerged from behind Lucifer, and the other nightmares laughed, almost mimicking mocking snickers of long ago. Samandiriel paid them no attention, turning instead to face Beelzebub. “Don’t fight us.” Sam whispered, holding out the dead butterflies as if they were a peace offering. “It hurts more when you try to fight back, remember?”

“I’m not hiding anything! You just never asked.” Dagon stares at the floor. “And I’d never put lord Beelzebub in danger. The- Lucifer asked a lot of questions, and when I tried to avoid answering, he...” Dagon shudders a little. “I didn’t have a choice. And when he said that Beelzebub was in danger, I gave him the book of Magics. I’m sorry. I didn’t... fuck, Mammon and Belphegor are going to hate me...”
