ANDREW is the band's founder and front man. He grew up in Boulder, Colorado, although he thinks his life didn't really start until he moved to New York for college, where he met Olivia and supposedly Nick. He swears he never knew the latter during this time. Following his graduation, he moved to South Korea to pursue a music career in what he perceived to be a friendlier industry, and spent almost nine years as the main vocalist and producer of idol boy group Fable. He was also active as a soloist at the tail end of the group's career. Fable disbanded following the end of their contracts, and Andrew moved back to New York City with the intent of continuing his musical career.

OLIVIA is the eldest member of The Undesirables. She grew up as the older of two children in Austin, Texas. She met Andrew in college, where she became one of his first real friends, and later the first person he recruited upon his return to the US. Always a social butterfly, she was also the one who convinced Nick to join. Prior to all of that, she spent most of her post college life traveling, giving private music lessons to small children, and playing the bass in indie rock band The Year 2000. Olivia left that band in order to form The Undesirables with Andrew, and can't help but feel like she contributed to their eventual demise. She does her best not to think about it.

NICK—full name Nicholas but the only person who calls him that is his mom when she's mad at him—is the bassist of The Undesirables. A third generation Pakistani American, he's lived his entire life in the same Brooklyn apartment. He was one of the founding members of pop punk band Something to Sing About, formed when he was in college. He also befriended Olivia around that time, and has vivid memories of knowing Andrew, no matter how much Andrew denies it. He was invited to join The Undesirables after his old band collapsed, and had to be coerced into picking up his instrument again. In addition to his band duties, he's the only member with a full time job—as a consultant at his dad's wealth management firm.

EUNICE was born on May 21, 2003 to Korean immigrants in Vancouver, Canada. She is the youngest of three children, but grew up feeling like an only child as her older siblings did their best to escape their mother. By the time she entered high school, she wanted the same thing. Her way out was education, and she did her best to make her curriculum match that of a rigorous American prep school, which led to her acceptance into an American university. It wasn't until her degree was well underway that she learned to play the guitar for the sake of a romantic relationship that lasted two whole weeks. Eunice auditioned for The Undesirables out of a desire to not get a real job yet. Somehow, it worked.
