I think Enpitsu's type of muse is what it is because he hated how his mother acted and found her gross and immature. Whatever she saw as fun was the equivalent of neglecting him, so he chose someone serious. She was the life of the party with a fun, bubbly appearance, so he chose someone with a more mature-looking appearance.
Unbeknownst to him, despite how much he wanted to erase his mother from his memory, she ended up making more of an impact on his life and his taste than he realizes.
Despite the fact that I've "???" his crush, my plans have been thrown to the wall several times for his love interest. At the end of the day, I might end up thinking about it so long that he's robbed of a love interest at all, which really wouldn't be the end of the world.
In all honesty, after spontaneously giving him a backstory, I'm more excited for Ayano to explore that rather than his love life.
I'd like for students to occasionally switch clubs in the school, and I'll shrink that member necessity to three to make this a bit more possible. I say this because at some point, I might have Enpitsu break from the art club to join the photography club for the sake of having actual friends, which he doesn't have in his muses or club mates.
