Yesterday we binged. We binged like there was no tomorrow. We skipped the burgers because after having like 5 waffles each we both realized we wouldn’t be able to handle it as well as the pad thai and cake. So we ate waffles, and because we never eat like this our bodies begged for sleep. We slept for 2 hours, got up, went and got pad thai. We didn’t even make a dent in the pad thai! I got a virgin pina colada (I don’t like the alcoholic one) and we got some wings, but by the time the pad thai arrived we were both kinda full. My boyfriend only ate two bites of his! So we got it to go. Then we went to Whole Foods and got a mini carrot cake. I got a cake shot, which was AMAZING, and then we got a whole bunch of cookies and TWO flavors of Ben and Jerry’s ice-cream. Yup we were pigs. Then we went to a diner called Gregg’s which is known in this area for their amazing cakes and we got a giant slice of double chocolate cake. The desserts we took home for after we finished our left over pad thai. We came home, slept, ate more pad thai, watched TV and ate our desserts. We just sat like blobs on the couch until 1:30 in the morning eating sweets and watching TV. It was miserable and amazing all at the same time and now I am grateful to be back to eating normal again. I am just about to go to the gym and I am SO EXCITED to go. Sometimes you need giant cheat days once a year to remember why you are so strict during the rest of the year.
